Hope you had as nice a Christmas as this blogger and put aside your economic worries temporarily.
By the way, hope you noticed that the HYPER VENTILATING MEDIA AND PRESS have recently said the same thing this blogger did some weeks ago-- that the fiscal cliff is all hype. Only they put it this way: "the fall from the cliff won't be very drastic as thought at present." That leaves the way open for more hype later.
And hat's off to the House of Representatives (and Boehner) for escaping many of the socialist's manuevers and holding fast. Even if the Congress is criticized, the buck stops with the President. It is up to him to really mediate compromise between both sides and he is just not willing to back off the HOSTILE TAKEOVER OF HEALTH CARE IN AMERICA.

Hi,
I have been having trouble with Yahoo mail the last 10 days with messages sent back from addresses I know are correct and recent--many from AOL so I hope this will get to all of my list. At least with the post-office, you have somewhere to notify.
This has been a week of reflection on the state of the financial economic world. Recent years have been without a doubt a GIGANTIC failure for the Communist's economy in MAJOR parts of the world like Asia and Europe. They won't admit to that failure but it still must be troublesome for their future plans. The only real success they have had is taking charge of the Marxist's long planned move to change America into a Marxist country and they assume that change will bail them out worldwide. Unfortunately, the very thing that made America prosperous and successful is capitalism and Marxists feel they must destroy that economy and replace it with their own vision.
Watching President Obama blame his lack of ability to MEDIATE differences in the tug of war over America's present financial situation is an education in Marxist strategy. HARMONY IS HIS PRIMARY JOB AS PRESIDENT AND HE HAS YET TO FULFILL THAT JOB!!!! IT IS THE CONGRESS' JOB TO BE OBSTRUCTIONISTS TO FINANCIAL PLANS THAT ARE OUT OF REASON!!!!!!!! Obama blames their opposition for the lack of unity in the country, wears them down by constant vocal warfare, and bullies them into a position of greater concessions than should be made. I have been having trouble with Yahoo mail the last 10 days with messages sent back from addresses I know are correct and recent--many from AOL so I hope this will get to all of my list. At least with the post-office, you have somewhere to notify.
This has been a week of reflection on the state of the financial economic world. Recent years have been without a doubt a GIGANTIC failure for the Communist's economy in MAJOR parts of the world like Asia and Europe. They won't admit to that failure but it still must be troublesome for their future plans. The only real success they have had is taking charge of the Marxist's long planned move to change America into a Marxist country and they assume that change will bail them out worldwide. Unfortunately, the very thing that made America prosperous and successful is capitalism and Marxists feel they must destroy that economy and replace it with their own vision.
Watching President Obama blame his lack of ability to MEDIATE differences in the tug of war over America's present financial situation is an education in Marxist strategy. HARMONY IS HIS PRIMARY JOB AS PRESIDENT AND HE HAS YET TO FULFILL THAT JOB!!!! IT IS THE CONGRESS' JOB TO BE OBSTRUCTIONISTS TO FINANCIAL PLANS THAT ARE OUT OF REASON!!!!!!!! DRAMA IN THE FOURTH ESTATE POST 135
Hi,
The economy leaves me at a loss for words. This brinksmanship thing is propaganda at its worst and of course the media loves it. MORE DRAMATICS, MORE LISTENERS, MORE MONEY IN THE BANK-- JUST LIKE THE ELECTION.
It's a strange thing about the press and the media. HAVING BEEN A MEMBER OF THE FOURTH ESTATE IN THE LONG PAST I watch with shock their present day antics! They are their own worst enemies.When they use politics for their own aims, it makes enemies all around. If a government gains too much control, the first ones to lose are the press and the media either by dictatorial control or annihilation. Of course, the press and media are always willing to instruct people that they should not make the same mistakes twice. THEY OUGHT TO KNOW CONSIDERING THEY DO THIS TIME AND AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
So when they over- emphasize divisions in the country's decisions and over-dramatize a financial debt that leaves the best economic advisors gasping, it greatly affects the well being of our country and is reprehensible. Most of the rhetoric is for the media's bottom line. IT IS THE DRAMA that affects the public's reading and listening. IT IS THE DRAMA that raises subscriptions, listening ratings and promotes advertising and sponsoring.
This kind of influence-making by the media began with the Viet Nam war. Prior to that time the press had kept a handle on dramatic efforts to scare citizens to death with death. But the unpopularity of the Viet Nahm conflict bought the press public opinion control. Once they discovered what a big money maker that kind of reporting engendered, there was no stopping the onslaught of media and press on the public
I'm not saying that the Press hadn't done this kind of thing before. But they didn't have TV and computers to spread it on a upscale basis nor the proliferation of photography to enhance the drama. With those additions the media became an instrument not for the listeners' good but the equivalent of a horror show called the NIGHTLY NEWS. It no longer sought a fair and unbiased assessment of what was happening in Washington and around the world. It sought the sensational news LIKE GOSSIP MONGERS CHASING CELEBRITIES FOR ANY DIRT TO BE DUG!!!!!!!
How very sad to see what tried to become a noble and upright source of meaning for everyday citizens turn into a CRAZED, BIASED, UNREASONABLE, AND STRIDENT RUN FOR THE SCANDLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my newspaper time, I heard all the high flown values, restrictions, and lectures on non biased reporting with a viable source that could be validated. It was a strong attempt by newsmen to make investigative reporting into a high minded profession and editors used their RED PEN LIBERALLY keeping everyone in line. BUT TELEVISION HAPPENED. THEN COMPUTERS HAPPENED.
These two mediums never hesitated for a moment going for the MAIN CHANCE AND THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, costs were high. Competition was keen. AND WE WENT INTO AN AGE OF THE NEXT NEW THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SURVIVAL BECAME THE NAME OF THE GAME!!!!!!!!!! MORALS WERE EXPENSIVE AND DIDN'T PROMOTE BUSINESS RAPIDLY.
Newspapers had a choice, however, and could have continued to take the HIGH ROAD BUT THEY PANICKED AS MORE AND MORE PEOPLE STOPPED SUBSCRIBING. IT WASN'T LONG BEFORE THEY SUBCOMBED TO THE EASY ROAD TO ECONOMIC WELFARE. NO WONDER THE MEDIA AND THE PRESS COULD SO EASILY RECOMMEND IT TO THE REST OF US. THEY USED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE TROUBLE IS SIMPLE. ECONOMICS IS ONLY HIGH DRAMA WHEN THERE IS TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!! And when drama is used to solve ECONOMIC FINANCIAL PROBLEMS, THE SOLUTION OFTEN LEADS TO MORE TROUBLE. The downside of the solutions is that after the immediate BANG OF A BOOST COMES THE BANG OF A BUST !!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!RECESSION HAS MANY MEANINGS IN MANY FIELDS BUT THE SAME MISTAKES HAPPEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN. BUST FOLLOWS BOOM AND THE MORE ARTIFICIAL THE BOOM, THE WORSE THE BUST.
Well, in a country's recession, do the VALUES return. In some ways. People seek God again. Man has to be more honest to find his way in the world. Folks have to help one another survive. There is less emphasis on the getting and more on the giving. We are all nicer because we HAVE TO BE (isn't that SAD--"HAVE TO BE") and eventually we rebuild toward another boom.
TROUBLE IS, SOME THINGS ARE LOST THAT NEVER RETURN. AND SOME PEOPLE NEVER LEARN BECAUSE IT'S EASIER TO GO BACK TO OLD FAULTY PRACTICES AND SO IN MANY CASES THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS.
And most certainly that's what we're seeing with our FOURTH ESTATE. THEY ARE NOT SEEING THE PITFALLS OF THEIR PRACTICES NOR RECOGNIZING THE NEED FOR REFORM. At least during my tenure in the newspaper business, they did see the need for reform and made a sincere effort to make it work but the TENACITY of belief when confronted by major media threats was not SOLID ENOUGH.
WHEN THE PRESS LACKS REAL VALUES, IT IS CORRUPTED. THE USEFULNESS OF THE PRESS AND THE MEDIA RESTS ONLY IN ITS UNBIASED REPORTING OF FACTS. THE OLD "WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY, AND WHEN" WITHOUT EDITORIALIZING IS THE KEY TO HONEST REPORTING. How long has it been since you could find the five "W"s as we used to call them in a LEAD (first) paragraph of a news story. KNOW WHY? They taught the newbies in journalism school to be editors who tell you WHAT THEY THINK rather than what you need to know--the 5-W's. LET THE EDITOR DO THE THINKING ON THE EDITORIAL PAGE-that's what he's paid for!!!!!!!!!!!!When you allow everyone to write EDITORIALLY without a byline and bury the facts, you get the kind of garbage today's newspapers represent.
We recognise much of the editorializing on the TV because it's read by an individual although much of the news on media is written by FOLKS BEHIND THE SCENES WHO ARE ACTING AS UNSEEN EDITORS.
So, how do we get at the truth?????????? Not easy!!!!!!!!!!! TAKES A LOT OF THINKING AND READING AND WATCHING. DON'T JUST ACCEPT WHAT THEY TELL YOUR OR THEY PRINT. IF YOU ARE CONCERNED, HUNT FOR THE TRUTH IN A NUMBER OF PLACES. Look on the computer, check newspapers that don't agree, listen to commentators that disagree. But above all REMAIN A SKEPTIC. DON'T BE SPOON FED DRAMA.

ECONOMIC TURKEYS POST 134
Hi,
With Turkey day behind us, it's time to deal with the TURKEYS IN WASHINGTON. Did I ever share my Turkey stories with you? Remember that my Dad retired????to a cattle farm in Central Florida for several years when I was pre-pubescent. Cows, ducks, chickens, fresh veggies and lots of land. Sounds ideal doesn't it???????That is until his restless spirit decided a crop of TURKEYS bought young and raised free range would bolster income and feed us free.
None of us had every raised TURKEYS, OF COURSE, since we had prior to these events been basically city folks (city folks in those days had chickens and vegetable gardens) and based our knowledge on chickens. Went fine as long as the TURKEYS were young and simply foraging and eating. THEN THEY BEGAN TO GROW BIG-BIG-BIG AND AS MEAN AS ANY BIRD CAN BE--ONLY BIGGER. THEY RANGED ALL RIGHT ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!!! They were not above pushing, shoving, punching with claws open, flying at one another, and biting when they didn't get their way and not JUST EACH OTHER but humans as well. The dog and I being the smallest spent a great deal of time swatting, yelling and barking, and generally trying to escape those DUMB TURKEY'S BEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO GREATER DUMB THAN A TURKEY. THEY MAKE A MISTAKE, TAKE SOME SWATTING, TURN AROUND, RUSTLE THEIR FEATHERS AND DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER REGRETTED EATING A TURKEY SINCE!!!!!!!!

With Turkey day behind us, it's time to deal with the TURKEYS IN WASHINGTON. Did I ever share my Turkey stories with you? Remember that my Dad retired????to a cattle farm in Central Florida for several years when I was pre-pubescent. Cows, ducks, chickens, fresh veggies and lots of land. Sounds ideal doesn't it???????That is until his restless spirit decided a crop of TURKEYS bought young and raised free range would bolster income and feed us free.
None of us had every raised TURKEYS, OF COURSE, since we had prior to these events been basically city folks (city folks in those days had chickens and vegetable gardens) and based our knowledge on chickens. Went fine as long as the TURKEYS were young and simply foraging and eating. THEN THEY BEGAN TO GROW BIG-BIG-BIG AND AS MEAN AS ANY BIRD CAN BE--ONLY BIGGER. THEY RANGED ALL RIGHT ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!!! They were not above pushing, shoving, punching with claws open, flying at one another, and biting when they didn't get their way and not JUST EACH OTHER but humans as well. The dog and I being the smallest spent a great deal of time swatting, yelling and barking, and generally trying to escape those DUMB TURKEY'S BEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO GREATER DUMB THAN A TURKEY. THEY MAKE A MISTAKE, TAKE SOME SWATTING, TURN AROUND, RUSTLE THEIR FEATHERS AND DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER REGRETTED EATING A TURKEY SINCE!!!!!!!!

THE PILGRIMS CAME HERE TO FIND FREEDOM FROM RELIGIOUS HARRASSMENT POST 133
Hi,
Well it's a week before Thanksgiving and we have a lot of blessings to VALUE and be thankful for and a lot OF SO CALLED BLESSINGS that we need to devalue more. This blogger doesn't have to point out which are which after the election.
America has after all been moving toward Socialism since Teddy Roosevelt. It's simply that we thought we could keep it in check but those who support the "Cause" don't wish to share the SPOILS WITH NON-BELIEVERS. So, we have reached the stage of 'ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL" and unfortunately the PIONEERS WHO SETTLED THIS COUNTRY ARE LONG GONE, the PILGRIMS who fled here to find FREEDOM have since departed this world, and the ANCESTORS who kept the FLAME OF A FREE PEOPLE ablaze have joined them.
We are not only in a new century but the generations in the last half of the twentieth century were unwilling to make sure their children and their children's children had a strong realization of America and the American dream. Education was left in the hands of the Socialists, who removed history as a requirement and Civics as a foolish waste of time because they were busy rewriting the parts that interfered with their view of a new Socialist America.
Even our educators themselves didn't see the lacks in the system often they were simply busy administering all the new forms or teaching their own small area with no time to worry about what had happened to the good solid American education they received.Many of the new educators were products of the new non-patriotic, non-American, non-religious system that the Socialists developed. The reasons sounded plausible. They always do until the realization takes hold.
The Socialists are well grounded in patience and slow warfare and good at punishing those who block them or disagree with them. to scare the hell out of the opposition. They educate their leaders, train them and scatter them hither, thither and yon to carry out whatever needs to be done. THEY HAVE PLACES IN YOUR COMMUNITY to run the programs they endorse without announcing themselves. A long time ago, they calculated that it would only take 10% of a truly committed group who fought for the "cause" to change a country to Socialism. Those 10% could convince enough of the rest of the population, particularly after enough freebies were in operation, to overvote, overwhelm, or over shout the rest. It has worked for them over and over again. You don't throw out a good plan that yields success.
What doesn't work for them, and they have learned to compensate for this as well, is the basic plan of socialism. It has a PERFECT RECORD OF FAILURE all over the world. It has bankrupted countries, brought them more poverty and hunger, done none of the grandiose promised shangri-la joy for many, or produced what our Socialists call a fair share. Meanwhile, it has enriched the loyal few to riches heretofore unavailable and beyond measure. America is the PLUM--THE RICH PLUM TO BE PLUCKED WITH GREAT VIGOR. SOROS, the titular head of the world party, WILL DIE RICHER, MORE CONTENT, AND WITH MORE POWER THAN EVEN HE COULD HAVE DREAMED OF HAVING.
How do the Socialists overcome the underlying fallacy of their great social plan when it fails continually?????????? It's always someone else's fault!!!!!!!!! Someone else did the wrong thing not them and socialists are attempting to overcome it!!!!!!!!!! They admit no fault--no error--no opposition to their basic plan. THEY HAVE DEVELOPED LOTS OF RHETORIC FOR THIS AND USE IT FREELY and they see folks as gullible or willing to believe it so they don't have to be bothered.

They keep espionage at the forefront so that they can FIX BLAME on some poor, unsuspecting, hormone heavy, non-socialist (TALK TO GENERAL PETRAEUS ABOUT IRAQ AND HIS CONFLICT WITH OBAMA) and while ruining the victim's reputation or TRYING TO strangle their bank account ( TALK TO TRUMP ABOUT THE ATTACK ON HIS EMPIRE). Socialists work to convince the public of their socialistic innocence while making others look like the guilty fools who perpetrated errors. They do this in small and large ways and it is a constant for them to use partial truth with many untruths to accomplish their purpose. THEY FEEL THE CAUSE CAN DO NO WRONG. NUMBERS CRUNCHERS WILL FIND THIS AN UNEASY SOLUTION BUT IF CERTAIN FUNDS ARE ALLOCATED TO PAYING DOWN DEBT AND CAN'T BE USED FOR OTHER PROJECTS - DEBT WILL EVENTUALLY GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!
