The secular approach is being rewarded in huge amounts with new books like Bill Clinton's memoirs ($12M) and Hillary Clinton's memoirs (8M). Does this sound like a resounding OBITUARY FOR BOOKS OR WHAT?????????
The Clintons' secular attitudes and approach to living encircle their "PROGRESSIVE" reality of what this society should become. It is a whole different SOCIETY than most citizens understand. It has nothing to do with the American Dream, the American Consitution or the American faith in God. IT HAS ITS ROOTS IN SECULAR LIFE, A SOCIALIST VIEW OF THE WORLD, AND A NEW KIND OF WORLD ORDER FOR AMERICA.
Leaders with highly secular attitudes reflect the attitudes of most Communists in their disparaging of religion and the "myths" that they perceive and reject AS confusing to many citizens. These views have created a resounding battle between the "have faith" and "have-not faith" groups and caused illogic in many areas of society including politics.
This battle has also created a huge economic market both promoting and condeming secular thinking and creating all sorts of media seeking to fill that empty base in the human psyche. There are books, games, tapes, videos, movies, sports etc. ad infinitum to either discuss, explore or replace SPIRITUAL PHILOSOPHY!!!!!!!! It's a big market. WHY????????????????????
Well, in case you hadn't noticed as this Blogger has, man needs more than BREAD ALONE. There is a deep well within man's being that requires nourishing and religion has always answered that need quite brilliantly. However, when secular thought became more prevalent in our society, a lot of the fullfillment was tossed away without a remedy for the hole it left in man's spirit. Secular thinkers at one time believed that the arts could fill the void. However, most of them were too lazy or busy to bother educating the public to new spiritual values. They were too busy educating the population on communism, commerce, technology and secular beliefs.
So what happens when secular leaders don't address an important issue and expect to solve it with the memoirs of secular people????????? THEY FAIL IN THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF MAN'S SURVIVAL!!!!!!!!! They give man BREAD ALONE albeit WITH A FULLFILLING CAREER SO THEY CAN BUY MANY TOYS AND USE THEIR SPARE TIME AS A NEVER ENDING PLAY GROUND. Secular thinkers then THEN WONDER WHY THERE IS ANY DISSATISFACION OR DISCONTENT????????
Man is often OVERWHELMED by the intellectual AND physical ASPECTS OF of ordinary DAY TO DAY LIFE AND ITS CONSTANT UPS AND DOWNS. Although play is a necessary outlet to those frustrations, there is a deeper part of man that was termed the soul by religions. It is in this portion of man's awareness and unwareness that conflict rages between the darkness of life and death and deep concern with the unknown. It is here that spirituality reigns supreme and for centuries religion has answered and fed that need. It has been FATHER AND MOTHER of the inner spirit so that those concerns could be laid down each week on the shoulders of an almighty and powerful force for good.
When secular thinking entered the picture and tore away the fabric of religion, calling it an opiate for the masses and a cause for fools, it disregarded the real needs of the human spirit saying in effect, "Oh, THEY'LL GET OVER IT. IT'S JUST AN ADDICTION LIKE DRUGS."
HAVE YOU NOTICED HILLARY CLINTON'S FACE THESE DAYS????? THAT'S NOT JUST WORRY FOR THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! BILL??????????? well, he's still playing hard to FORGET THE PAST!!!!!!!!!! Hillary can only run around the world for so long before she has to deal with her inner woman.
Essentially the atheists and secular community have IGNORED THE MOST COMMON CONDITIONS OF MAN AND THE NEEDS ENSUING FROM THEM. THIS ALONE HAS TO PREDICT THE FAILURE OF COMMUNISM IN THE ECONOMIC WORLD BUT MORE SO IN THE IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL WORLD WITHIN.

There's not much doubt out in the American hinterlands ABOUT Congress harboring a number of CSPers (Communist, Socialists, Progressives--different names-same species.) But when Congressman ALLEN WEST had the temerity to tell the press the TRUTH by pointing out 78-81 members were part of a CONGRESSIONAL PROGRESSIVE CAUCUS (CSPers) who meet to tell each other how to vote the PARTY LINE!!!!!(WHICH PARTY IS THAT??????) and are Communists, the Communists screamed like wounded mice!!! This blogger SAYS MICE BECAUSE AT LEAST RATS WILL STAND WHEN CONFRONTED AND FIGHT!!!!!!!! MICE HIDE BEHIND WHATEVER THEY CAN FIND AND SCREAM WHEN FOUND OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

FRUSTRATION THY NAME IS CYBER JABBER WACKY. POST 106
Hi,
Economically, the web has been a wonderful opportunity for me to pursue my writing career long after I thought it might be over. I have to say that my appreciation runs long and deep.
However, it does not extend to many of the cyber companies who do business on the web and have hired folks from all over the world to answer their needs. DON'T GET ME WRONG. I'M NOT AGAINST HIRING HELP IN OTHER COUNTRIES. I AM AGAINST THE LANGUAGE BLOCK THAT SEEMS TO EXIST IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS. I'm certainly not a linquist and am not apprised of all the problems second and third languages cause. And in my life friendships, I have been fortunate to know some FOREIGNERS who speak and understand extremely well. I have also known a few for whom POINTING would be a better option.
Unfortunately, many web companies seem to hire those for whom POINTING would be THE BEST OPTION. I'm sure they are bright, alert individuals but the second language is for them a HUGE BURDEN which often seems to come to rest on this Blogger's shoulders. I had a German friend one time tell me that although he had learned English in his teens, he still had to translate in his head the English to German and back to English. That's rough and he was a very intelligent gentleman. He was too intelligent to be hired by Cyber firms.
All of these folks hired into cyber jobs often seem to land in the positions of HELP which is obviously not a happy venue. If someone needs HELP, not understanding the accent of the person offering it is to say the least very "off putting". If one does not understand what is causing a problem, adding another problem of a language barrier, seems to this blogger to be A DAMN POOR SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!! And of course, making oneself understood under those circumstances is usually a lost cause that takes on ludicrous proportions over the period of time that both the helper and helpee take to understand that THIS IS GOING NO WHERE!!!!!!!!!!
When the problem exists within a merchandising situation (AND I MUST SAY THAT MANY BIG COMPANIES HAVE WORKED HARD TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM THERE) then THE LANGUAGE BARRIER BECOMES LESS COMICAL SINCE THERE MAY BE A GREAT DEAL OF LOSS AT STAKE.
This blogger recently encountered that situation with a publishing company who seem to feel that having anyone other than the administrators exceling in our native language is a definite budget oversight. The email letters have flown back and forth and as you know THIS BLOGGER WRITES FAIRLY CLEARLY AND DIRECTLY but after at least 15-20 emails, WONDERED IF ANYONE IN THE BUSINESS COULD READ!!!!!
The answers received often ignored the information sent and offered unwanted or unneeded answers to the problem. Now this blogger is also not a shy, retiring flower so when FRUSTRATED, THE RHETORIC BECOMES EVEN MORE DIRECT AND ALTHOUGH NOT INSULTING CERTAINLY APPRISING OF THE SITUATION THAT EXISTS.
When this correspondent reaches that FRUSTRATION LEVEL, THE E-MAILS CARRY COPIES TO SUPERVISORS AND CEOs. LOOK THEM UP ON THE WEB--THEY LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU--SO MUCH SO THEY HURRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE!!!!!
You may feel badly bothering these busy and important men but you can always hope that if they hear from enough customers, they will REPLACE THE PERSONNEL MANAGER with someone who will hire folks with A GOOD COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND ONLY A SLIGHT ACCENT SO THAT COMMUNICATION IS possible!!!!!!!!!
This blogger is aware that there are often HIGHLY PRIZED AND COMPETANT SOFTWARE COMPANIES who use this kind of HELP ON THE SOFTWARE PROGRAMS as a SELLING TOOL!!!!!!!!! HOW????????? Oh, come on!!!!!!!! Even if you think they're the greatest thing since PIZZA, how easy is it to FRUSTRATE FOLKS IF YOU REALLY TRY??????????? PRETTY EASY WHEN IT'S MATERIAL NEW TO THEIR INTELLECT!!!!!!!!! and once frustrated, HOW EASY IS IT TO SELL THEM COURSES IN SAID SOFTWARE??????
The phrase for that kind of ease used to BE DUCK SOUP!!!!! Not sure why but I guess Duck Soup was easier to make than most other soups. OKAY. THEY CHARGE A LOT FOR THE SOFTWARE THEN THE COMPANY CAN ASSURE THEMSELVES OF DOUBLING, TRIPLING, OR MONSTER MAGNIFYING THEIR PROFITS WITH COURSES THAT PARTICULARLY LARGE COMPANIES ARE GLAD TO FUND SINCE THEY CAN DEDUCT IT from TAXES AND USE THAT MONEY TO HIRE FOREIGN HELP!!!!!!!!!!
What a SUPER set-up a little UNSUPPORTED FRUSTRATION can engender. This blogger had a lovely conversation some months ago about a new program after calling "HELP ME PLEASE, I'M GOING BATTY". A very polite and ALMOST ARTICULATE LAD FROM INDIA COMPLIMENTED me ON MY SENSE OF HUMOR, THEN very politely fabricated a story about the problem I FACED, AND SAID IT COULDN'T BE RESOLVED AND THANKED ME FOR CALLING!!!!!!!!
ONCE THIS BLOGGER FOUND A RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM, calling that nice, polite, lying DOOBIE was not available since this is an anonymous, NON FACE UP SERVICE. Besides, would he have CARED TO KNOW how to resove it????????? DOUBTFUL. NOT HIS JOB. His job was to poltely GET RID OF THE CALLER WHO SHOULD FEEL THANKFUL FOR THE HELP.
A different instance of the NON FACE UP HELP available these days was done by a stand up English speaking American on the phone at a large national bank. Needing a simple transfer of funds, the caller after giving varying information was asked for a social security number. When refused, the questioner responded with what he called an account number which was the social security number. He had broken the law both by asking and by giving it over the telephone. When the caller complained to the local branch, the national bank office called about the complaint and the upshot: WE CAN'T HAVE CONTROL OVER ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ANSWER THE PHONE FOR US?????????????????? SAME ANSWER AS FOR THE MORTGAGE CRISIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure, this world is going through a BIG TRANSISTION with TECHNOLOGY as this blogger has stated many times--IT IS A TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION. The problem seems to be that PEOPLE STILL EXIST. Unfortunately, many web companies seem to hire those for whom POINTING would be THE BEST OPTION. I'm sure they are bright, alert individuals but the second language is for them a HUGE BURDEN which often seems to come to rest on this Blogger's shoulders. I had a German friend one time tell me that although he had learned English in his teens, he still had to translate in his head the English to German and back to English. That's rough and he was a very intelligent gentleman. He was too intelligent to be hired by Cyber firms.
All of these folks hired into cyber jobs often seem to land in the positions of HELP which is obviously not a happy venue. If someone needs HELP, not understanding the accent of the person offering it is to say the least very "off putting". If one does not understand what is causing a problem, adding another problem of a language barrier, seems to this blogger to be A DAMN POOR SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!! And of course, making oneself understood under those circumstances is usually a lost cause that takes on ludicrous proportions over the period of time that both the helper and helpee take to understand that THIS IS GOING NO WHERE!!!!!!!!!!
When the problem exists within a merchandising situation (AND I MUST SAY THAT MANY BIG COMPANIES HAVE WORKED HARD TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM THERE) then THE LANGUAGE BARRIER BECOMES LESS COMICAL SINCE THERE MAY BE A GREAT DEAL OF LOSS AT STAKE.
This blogger recently encountered that situation with a publishing company who seem to feel that having anyone other than the administrators exceling in our native language is a definite budget oversight. The email letters have flown back and forth and as you know THIS BLOGGER WRITES FAIRLY CLEARLY AND DIRECTLY but after at least 15-20 emails, WONDERED IF ANYONE IN THE BUSINESS COULD READ!!!!!
The answers received often ignored the information sent and offered unwanted or unneeded answers to the problem. Now this blogger is also not a shy, retiring flower so when FRUSTRATED, THE RHETORIC BECOMES EVEN MORE DIRECT AND ALTHOUGH NOT INSULTING CERTAINLY APPRISING OF THE SITUATION THAT EXISTS.
When this correspondent reaches that FRUSTRATION LEVEL, THE E-MAILS CARRY COPIES TO SUPERVISORS AND CEOs. LOOK THEM UP ON THE WEB--THEY LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU--SO MUCH SO THEY HURRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE!!!!!
You may feel badly bothering these busy and important men but you can always hope that if they hear from enough customers, they will REPLACE THE PERSONNEL MANAGER with someone who will hire folks with A GOOD COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND ONLY A SLIGHT ACCENT SO THAT COMMUNICATION IS possible!!!!!!!!!
This blogger is aware that there are often HIGHLY PRIZED AND COMPETANT SOFTWARE COMPANIES who use this kind of HELP ON THE SOFTWARE PROGRAMS as a SELLING TOOL!!!!!!!!! HOW????????? Oh, come on!!!!!!!! Even if you think they're the greatest thing since PIZZA, how easy is it to FRUSTRATE FOLKS IF YOU REALLY TRY??????????? PRETTY EASY WHEN IT'S MATERIAL NEW TO THEIR INTELLECT!!!!!!!!! and once frustrated, HOW EASY IS IT TO SELL THEM COURSES IN SAID SOFTWARE??????
The phrase for that kind of ease used to BE DUCK SOUP!!!!! Not sure why but I guess Duck Soup was easier to make than most other soups. OKAY. THEY CHARGE A LOT FOR THE SOFTWARE THEN THE COMPANY CAN ASSURE THEMSELVES OF DOUBLING, TRIPLING, OR MONSTER MAGNIFYING THEIR PROFITS WITH COURSES THAT PARTICULARLY LARGE COMPANIES ARE GLAD TO FUND SINCE THEY CAN DEDUCT IT from TAXES AND USE THAT MONEY TO HIRE FOREIGN HELP!!!!!!!!!!
What a SUPER set-up a little UNSUPPORTED FRUSTRATION can engender. This blogger had a lovely conversation some months ago about a new program after calling "HELP ME PLEASE, I'M GOING BATTY". A very polite and ALMOST ARTICULATE LAD FROM INDIA COMPLIMENTED me ON MY SENSE OF HUMOR, THEN very politely fabricated a story about the problem I FACED, AND SAID IT COULDN'T BE RESOLVED AND THANKED ME FOR CALLING!!!!!!!!
ONCE THIS BLOGGER FOUND A RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM, calling that nice, polite, lying DOOBIE was not available since this is an anonymous, NON FACE UP SERVICE. Besides, would he have CARED TO KNOW how to resove it????????? DOUBTFUL. NOT HIS JOB. His job was to poltely GET RID OF THE CALLER WHO SHOULD FEEL THANKFUL FOR THE HELP.
A different instance of the NON FACE UP HELP available these days was done by a stand up English speaking American on the phone at a large national bank. Needing a simple transfer of funds, the caller after giving varying information was asked for a social security number. When refused, the questioner responded with what he called an account number which was the social security number. He had broken the law both by asking and by giving it over the telephone. When the caller complained to the local branch, the national bank office called about the complaint and the upshot: WE CAN'T HAVE CONTROL OVER ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ANSWER THE PHONE FOR US?????????????????? SAME ANSWER AS FOR THE MORTGAGE CRISIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure, this world is going through a BIG TRANSISTION with TECHNOLOGY as this blogger has stated many times--IT IS A TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION. The problem seems to be that PEOPLE STILL EXIST. This blogger was taught to never discuss religion or politics in polite??????????company. Whatever polite company was encountered over the years turned out to be rooted traditionalists. Traditional is not a dirty word. It is part and parcel of what all of us seek, some sooner, some later. But it is not only youth who want to throw the "baby out with the wash water" and traditionalism out with modernism.
Many of the traditional delights of living are built around holidays, some religious, some political, some emotional. These things are often the social sides of religious faith and patriotism. As modern living has evolved these attitudes have come under fire as old fashioned, poisonous, ritualistic, costly, ineffectual and irrational by the New Atheists and One-Worlders.
Is it just this blogger's view or do people these days feel that they have to destroy the "best of something" in order to present a new theory about it?????????? Or is it just any cohesive force is just plain SCARY to those outside the group. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!! IF WHAT YOU ARE PETITIONING FOR IS STRONG AND RIGHT, IT CAN STAND THE ESTABLISHED COMPETITION!!!!! Take a simple proof. THE INTERNET which has all but defeated ENTRENCHED media in all forms PERHAPS TO OUR DETRIMENT.
Suddenly the media including the Internet is beginning to hear from dedicated atheists that religion has PERHAPS SERVED A PURPOSE IN SOCIETY!!!!!!!!!FANCY THAT. Religion is being cited as having had a cohesive effect that brings out the BEST IN PEOPLE by PROMOTING MORALITY, HONESTY, INSPIRATION, LOVE, AND GRATITUDE.
ALAIN de BOTTON, whom this blogger finds to be a bright light among MODERN PHILOSOPHERS, has written a book called "Religion for Atheists" in which he finds that many who are "left cold by doctrines of the Christian Trinity and the Buddhist Eightfold Path...." may "at the same time be interested in the ways in which religions deliver sermons, promote morality, engender a spirit of community, make use of art and architecture, inspire travels, train minds, and encourage gratitude at the beauty of spring."
de Botton states that "The error of modern atheism has been to overlook how many aspects of the faiths remain relevant even after their central tenets have been dismissed.”
It is interesting as well that in modern times ONE-WORLDERS fail to understand the sense of NATIONAL COMMUNITY NECESSARY FOR CITIZENS TO PRODUCE AND THRIVE. It is all well and good to want to extend a hand to the world but WHO IS THERE TO SHAKE IT OR SALUTE IT, AS THE CASE MAY BE.
WE ARE INDEED ALL PART OF THE WORLD BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY PART OF A FAMILY, A NEIGHBORHOOD, A COMMUNITY, A TERRITORY, AND A NATION. THESE CATEGORIES ALLOW PEOPLE TO FEEL THE NECESSARY ADVANTAGES OF SOCIAL HARMONY, GROUP EFFORT, AND THE SUCCESS OF ETHICAL AND MORAL CONDUCT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE GROUP. THE WORLD IF YOU WILL!!!!! THESE ELEMENTS, BOTH IN RELIGION AND PATRIOTISM, OFFER PEOPLE A CHANCE TO COOPERATE WITH EACH OTHER WITHOUT BEING KINSMEN which then extends outwards limitlessly.
As an issue of economics, the rituals of Church and State provide tremendous avenues and REVENUES for the creation of art, music, architecture, science, technology and all the myriad creative efforts that come through a community of peoples working and achieving lasting goals based on both heaven and Earth.
The CREATIVE are MORE OFTEN INFLUENCED BY THOUGHTS OF A HIGHER POWER, A HIGHER INTELLIGENCE, A GREATER GOAL FOR GOOD, for ART THAT WILL WITHSTAND THE TESTS OF TIME AND CHANGE.
THESE EFFORTS HAVE TO BE ROOTED IN WHAT IS KNOWN AND UNKNOWN AS WELL AS WHAT IS DISCOVERED OR INVENTED. THESE EFFORTS DEMAND A COHESIVE SOCIETY which may EVEN be tested by attempting to break it apart to establish its rightness or wrongness by the most creative movers and shakers.
When ONE speaks of the goal of good to all HUMANITY AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF EQUALITY AND GOOD FOR ALL PEOPLES, IT IS PUTTING ONESELF DIRECTLY IN A POSITION OF BEING A HIGHER POWER. None of us can hope to provide that kind of existence without becoming a DEMIGOD and by so doing actually DESTROYING the INTENDED GOOD.
Bringing good to the lives of others is a group effort and the CHURCH AND STATE HAVE certainly stood in the FOREFRONT OF THAT EFFORT FOR A LONG TIME. EACH INDIVIDUAL who BECOMES PART OF THE COMMUNITY INVOLVED IN THE EFFORT TO PROMOTE WELL BEING, MAKES THE POSSIBILITIES ENDLESS.
However, DESTRUCTION OF THE BELIEF IN DIVINE JUSTICE IN AN UNJUST WORLD MAY BACKFIRE on those who would do so in the hope of controlling minds for the GREATER GOOD. Sacrifice, bravery in the face of duty, resolve in carrying out odious tasks, all elements of morality, and the invisible ties that bind communities CAN DISAPPEAR ALMOST OVERNIGHT and UNDERMINE ANY EFFORT TO PROMOTE GOOD AND ALLEVIATE POVERTY.
Thus far, those who would promote a destruction of religion and a destruction of patriotism have been fortunate. THEY HAVE, AS THEY SAY, BEAT IT WITH A STICK BUT haven't KILLED IT. The very tenets of both religion and patriotism even among those who deny both have served to maintain a COHESIVE AND STURDY COMMUNITY that if not totally effective is at least shoring up until the THREAT OF ANNIHILATION is DIMINISHED.
This blogger's question has been and will continue to be WHY MUST SOCIETY ALWAYS DESTROY THE GOOD WITH THE BAD?????????? The attitude of the New Atheists in reluctantly admitting some good in Religion may just be a step in the right direction!!!!!!!! Let's see if the One-Worlders can open up to the idea of the good in patriotism!!!!! We can hope so.
