WHAT'S THE SCORE? CITIZENS VS. GOVERNMENT?

Hi,

With the primaries coming up, this blogger hopes your ballot is filled out and ready to take to the polls. The primaries should be considered a most important issue for party members because the INCOMPETENTS THAT WE SEND TO WASHINGTON START IN THOSE PRIMARIES.

Too little attention is often paid to the committee men and women who are responsible for much of the party actions and most voters have NO IDEA who those STRANGERS on the ballot are or what they represent. UNFORTUNATELY THEY REPRESENT YOU!!!!!! and your selection of CANDIDATES. YOU GET THE FINISHED LIST ON THE BALLOT BUT HOW MANY GOOD CANDIDATES IN WHOM YOU WOULD FEEL INVESTED are not on that ballot?

This blogger realizes that few of us have the time to be part of the planning,construction and organization of political parties but we should be demanding an accounting from them. The Democratic, Republican and other parties should be presenting voters with at least reports of their activities and THE REASON FOR selections of candidates. One would think they would want to send out bulletins, post on the web, or submit media articles keeping the public or at least party members informed. I'm sure membership from registered voters would climb if they CAME OUT FROM BEHIND CLOSED DOORS before election pressure!!!!!!!!!!

THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY CLOSED DOORS IN OUR PRESENT SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT. Not all of them are closed because of sinister intentions. Many such as political parties become represented by political clubs whose influence is far greater than the pubic imagines but do not have to report their activities since they are private. Now, I'm not proposing new laws (WE'VE GOT TOO MANY OF THOSE ALREADY!!) but this blogger is suggesting public involvement in demanding MORE INPUT INTO HOW THINGS GET DONE!!!!!!!

WE SEND CANDIDATES TO WASHINGTON TO PICK OUR POCKETS AT TAX TIME with little or no knowledge of what kind of PICKPOCKETS THEY ARE. At least in Europe they train their PICKPOCKETS IF NOT THEIR CANDIDATES!!!!! This beyond all shadow of a doubt is the problem throughout the monster that has become GOVERNMENT in AMERICA. NO ONE INCLUDING GOVERNMENT MEMBERS HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE DEVIL IS GOING ON? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? ARE THEY REALLY QUALIFIED TO DO THAT? (WHATEVER "THAT" IS?-IF THEY CAN FIND THAT OUT). DOES THE logic sound UNREASONABLE? - WELL, SO IS THE SITUATION.

THIS BLOGGER IS WILLING TO ASSERT THAT MOST VOTERS AND some POLITICIANS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON TODAY IN THE POLITICAL WORLD because it is A WORLD APART FROM ITS CONSTITUENTS. THAT'S NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BET YOU COULD recite MORE about the NFL COACHES, PLAYERS, AND PROPOSED GAMES THEN WHAT CONGRESSMAN IS PLAYING THIS WEEK and what BILLS ARE IN THE AIR, OR WHAT THE COACHES OR WHIPS (the Chairs in the House and Senate) have on their PLAY LIST!!!!!!!!!! Most folks could offer CHAPTER AND VERSE ABOUT WHO COMPETED IN THE OLYMPICS?, DID THEY WIN OR LOSE?, WHAT'S SCHEDULED NEXT AND WHO THE MAIN WINNING TEAMS AND COACHES REPRESENT?

FUN STUFF, SURE, BUT WHY CAN'T WE PUT POLITICS INTO THAT CATEGORY???????? The stakes are certainly higher for each of us. MAYBE THAT'S THE PROBLEM. WE SEE THE STAKES AS TOO HIGH, TOO SERIOUS, TOO DAMAGING IF A MISTAKE IS MADE AND THAT SUCKS THE FUN OUT of the COMPETITION!!!!!!!

HEADS UP FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!! IT JUST A'INT GOING TOO WELL THE WAY WE'RE HANDLING IT!!!!! SO, TIME FOR A SHIFT IN TACTICS. Maybe the folks in WASHINGTON WOULDN'T FEEL THEY COULD PASS A HEALTH CARE BILL WITHOUT READING IT if their ELECTORATE WAS AT LEAST MARGINALLY INTERESTED IN THEIR ACTIONS!!!!!!!!! OUR SUPREME DISINTEREST IN ALL THINGS CONGRESSIONAL IS LIKE SENDING CANDIDATES TO WASHINGTON AND SAYING "YOU DO IT" AND WE'LL RUBBER STAMP IT!!!!!!!!!!!

YES, THIS BLOGGER IS AWARE OF THE INTERNET FORWARDS BY MANY AND THEY GET TERRIFIC RESULTS WHEN CONTINUALLY FOWARDED!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS BLOGGER IS ALSO AWARE OF THE ACTIONS OF THE TEA PARTY AND APPLAUDS THEM. THEY HOPEFULLY WILL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!! BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU????????????

Did you stop to consider that the TEA PARTY action came AFTER THE BARN DOOR WAS LEFT OPEN AND THE HEALTH CARE BAIL OUT!!!!!!!!!! PROTESTS BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!!!! And did you stop to consider that the LACK OF INTEREST IN WHAT WAS HAPPENING POLITICALLY pointed up the fact that TEA PARTY MEMBERS had been roused out of citizen stupor so well THAT THE SOCIALISTS CALLED THEM VILLANS FOR STANDING UP, GOING OUT, AND BEING HEARD!!!!!!!!! The CSPers made it sound like a crime for citizens to suddenly become interested in the process that makes their lives what they are or could become. SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That alone should point up the lack of interest too often conveyed by American voters, who begin with a lack of knowledge at the primary and follow through with a lack of knowledge about the many bills passed by the UNKNOWNS they are NOT WATCHING IN CONGRESS, THEIR SENATE, OR THEIR LOCAL GOVERNMENT. About the only interest taken is condemning whomever is President FOR DOING A BAD JOB OF WHATEVER. THAT'S PROBABLY TOO TRUE SINCE WHOMEVER IS PRESIDENT MOST LIKELY KNEW MORE ABOUT BASEBALL OR BASKETBALL THAN THE GOVERNMENT BEFORE taking OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This blogger believes the internet could be the SALVATION OF AMERICAN POLITICS IN KEEPING THE PUBLIC UP TO THE MINUTE!!!!!!!! AS WELL AS GETTING TO KNOW THE PROCESS, PLUS THE CANDIDATES (AT LEAST THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND FUTURE PLANS) and SHED SOME LIGHT ON ALL THE BILLS AND ISSUES UP FOR GRABS. FLORIDA LEARNED LONG AGO THAT "PORK CHOP POLITICS" (THE GOOD OLD BOY, KEEP IT A SECRET SYSTEM) WERE CAUSED BY THAT LACK OF OPENNESS TO VOTERS AND THE CLOSED DOOR ALLIANCES HELD CORRUPTION AND GREED AS BY-PRODUCTS.

PERHAPS IF YOU'RE SITTING AT THE COMPUTER TODAY WONDERING HOW YOU CAN INCREASE YOUR INPUT INTO THE REAL WORLD, let this blogger suggest some possible approaches. Start an ONLINE CLUB THAT SHARES POLITICAL INFORMATION ON A LOCAL AND NATIONAL LEVEL. OR start AN ONLINE group that shares researching THE BILLS AND LAWS THAT COME OUT LOCALLY AND IN WASHINGTON. OR START AN ONLINE CLUB that shares looking into the benefits afforded certain politicians, their districts, and maybe their pocketbooks from their actions on a LOCAL OR NATIONAL LEVEL.

I COULD OFFER DOZENS MORE IDEAS BUT THAT'S A GOOD START TO RAISING YOUR POLITICAL INTEREST TO THE LEVEL OF IMPORTANCE OF FOOTBALL,BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, THE OLYMPICS AND "AMERICA HAS TALENT".

MAKE POLITICS YOUR TALENT AND SCORE THE GOOD LIFE!!!!!!!!!!It SHOULD SCARE THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THOSE WHO REPRESENT US IN OFFICE!!!!!!!
