ECONOMY OR SQUANDERONOMY?

Hi. It's time to look at Representative Paul Ryan's budget proposal, "The Path to Prosperity".

Representative Ryan answered President Obama's refusal to get rid of the economy ruining new health care bill with a proposal of his own. The Obama stooges are fighting this tooth and nail????????? Want to know why? Maybe because they have a welfare agenda that doesn't include SAVING MONEY only PRINTING MORE.

By the way, every time Obama gets the Treasury to PRINT MORE MONEY, it effectively REDUCES THE VALUE OF YOUR DOLLAR. So if a dollar was actually worth 100% (HA-HA-HA OR BOO HOO HOO!!!!!!!), it would effectively be reduced by the addition of more dollars. Say 100 cents FOR A DOLLAR reduced to sixty-five cents. That means you can only buy with that dollar 65% of what you bought before!!!!!!! Whoops, there goes the ice cream!!!!!! That's why the government wants us on a diet to lose weight!!!! As well as on a gas diet!!!!!! That's both for the car and the body.

Rep. Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee supposedly knows more about the Economy than the President, who doesn't seem to know a budget from a Budgie--THAT'S A BIRD FRIENDS--IN FACT TWO OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!

That's why Ryan chairs the BUDGET committee. EXPERTISE!!!!!!!!! REP. RYAN, who would like the American Republic to survive, recommends a STATE CONTROLLED BLOCK GRANT. It is the same path taken for the welfare reform in the 1990s. It is a program that allows greater flexibility and positive change. And is proven.

The program would transform Medicare into a plan with stated contribution similar to the plan of Congress and government employees. GOSH, WE GET TO HAVE AS NICE A PLAN AS CONGRESS?????????? Our SENIORS would get a direct SUBSIDY TO BUY INSURANCE (similar to the POPULAR PRESCRIPTION DRUG BENEFITS) AND INVOLVE SENIORS IN THE COST OF SERVICES.

Rep. Ryan also plugged various loopholes in his plan that closed out ETHANOL SUBSIDIES to lower tax rates without a loss of revenue. He also instructed that SPENDING BE FROZEN AT OR BELOW THE 2008 LEVEL for five years!!!!!!!

HOW BAD CAN ALL THIS BE??????????? To hear the Obama Progressives (remember, the new title for SOCIALIST-COMMUNIST BELIEFS) SCREAM IN AGONY "it is the path to poverty for America's seniors and children and a road to riches for big oil" (THAT I GUESS IS "as opposed to LITTLE Oil" whatever and wherever that is!)

AND GET THIS!!!!!!! ANYONE 55 and OLDER ARE ENTIRELY EXEMPT from Rep. Ryan's proposal. THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE FOR CURRENT SENIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!

President Obama and his cohorts questioning this economic plan HAVE PASSED A MEDICARE PLAN THAT WILL THRUST THIS NATION INTO A MORASS OF DEBT AND ARE UNWILLING TO ADMIT IT NEEDS TO BE JETTISONED BECAUSE THEY WORKED SO HARD TO PASS IT!!!!!!!!!!!

GIVE ME A BREAK. THE BEST LAID PLANS OF MICE AND MEN REQUIRE RECONSTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!! What kind of IDIOTS lay out a plan (OBVIOUSLY FAULTY AND DISLIKED BY A MAJORITY OF AMERICANS) AND REFUSE TO ALTER IT??????????

Governor Rick Scott in the State of Florida ordered a cut in the budget for the disabled. When it was forcefully brought to his attention, the hardship this would cause, HE HAD THE GUTS TO WITHDRAW HIS RECOMMENDATION!!!!!!!!! Say what you will about Florida's new Governor, HE IS AT LEAST TUNED INTO HIS CONSTITUENTS which is more than you can say for PRESIDENT OBAMA, who has be BLINDSIDED BY HIS ADVISERS JUST AS HE WAS WHEN HE TOOK A 'SHELLACKING' IN THE 2010 ELECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What was VP Joe Biden's answer to the Health Care issue? He told Americans to be patriotic and pay their fair share of the debt and not complain!!!!!!!Some pundit figured out that at present that FAIR SHARE was approximately $74,000. a year. More than many Americans even earn. GUESS OLD JOE'S BEEN WEALTHY TOO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!

So the important points in this proposal: NO CHANGE FOR 55 AND OLDER; STATE'S RIGHTS PROGRAM; PREPARATION TIME FOR NEW SENIORS AND A PROVEN CONGRESSIONAL PLAN (PRIVATE CHOICE INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR HEALTH CARE IN TAXES); A SAVING OF THE NATION'S BUDGET; AND A PLAN TO REDUCE SPENDING BY SETTING A 2008 LIMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the majority in the SENATE GOING TO DO?????????? MOAN???? OR BE ACTUALLY PROGRESSIVE AND PASS IT???????????? UNFORTUNATELY, the answer is too OBVIOUS and a real condemnation of the people running our Government.

One other little problem that needs airing. WHEN DID AMERICANS BECOME EXTREMISTS by HAVING A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN THE "ruling party". Liberal writers seem to feel that the Tea Party is a small minority. LOOK again MS CALABACH! There is always a vocal group of opposition representing a MUCH LARGER SEGMENT OF THE NATION, WHO MAY REMAIN SILENT but VOTE LOUDLY.

ONE OF THE WRITERS remarked he has "reason to feel terrified". TOO, TOO SAD. So does the VOCAL AND SILENT MAJORITY when they review the Government's "PROGRESSIVE IE: SOCIALIST-COMMUNIST PLANS" for America's future.

If that writer heard the shouts of the citizens on Washington's streets saying "Shut it Down" as dripping with contempt, perhaps he should review the policies of the Progressives that are being challenged with contempt because they are felt to be destroying our Republic and a government these citizens want to retain.

Perhaps it is time to stop the RHETORIC and ALLOW THE RIGHT OF FREE SPEECH for which our forefather's fought. Perhaps the LIBERAL-PROGRESSIVE WING OF OUR COUNTRY CAN ONLY DISH IT OUT!!!!!!!!!BUT CAN'T TAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, the coverage of the possible shut down of the Government never touched on the fact that although a shut-down is not necessarily the best way to run things, the cost of doing so could be well BE overcome by the SAVINGS OF NOT DOING BUSINESS ON GOVERNMENT TERMS. That little thought REALLY POINTS OUT something important about the COST of GOVERNMENT DOING BUSINESS AS USUAL!!!!!!!!!!! As well as pointing up what the addition of the costs of HEALTH CARE will do to what is LEFT OF THE ECONOMY.

Or in terms of the Government should we rename the Economy, a SquanderONomy??????????

WANT YOUR PORK WITH KRAUT & RED CABBAGE?

Hi, Finally, we come to the place to discuss what economics was originally intended to cover. Budgets!!!!!!!!! and Money!!!!!! As you have come to realize the word ECONOMICS includes a world more these days. This week as you all know, Washington was in siege on the budget. Budget wars too often involve what Florida called "Pork". Florida in the mid years of the twentieth century had all sorts of terms for the "pork barrel" legislators who only desired funds for their section of the state as their version of reelection. Bring home the "bacon" and win the voters!!!!!!!!!!! "Pork Choppers" had a successful history of victory by bringing home the "bacon". Sometimes but not regularly some of them actually worried about the good of state and passed budget rules that benefited Florida.

Florida was at that time a mini-microcosm of the budget wars in Washington that have been going on for too many years to count. Each needy legislator comes to the table with an AGENDA and places that right on top of the heap of budget decisions that must be made. It is often but not always the reason he will vote a certain way. Other legislators bring their strong political BIAS and place it on top of pile and often will only vote in relation to those precepts. In other words legislators rarely come to a budget vote empty handed.

Prior to the major votes on the budget, committees are formed that make up the budget to be voted on. Lots of PORK FAT is added, lots taken out and therein lies the seeds of the battle ahead. If you have achieved POWER in the House or Senate, more than likely your 'PORK RINDS' ARE INCLUDED!!!!!!!!! If you haven't achieved that power then you still have a chance during the BUDGET STRUGGLE IN CONGRESS to achieve your aims by "selling" your vote for your "pork" to a budget section that needs followers. This is called COMPROMISE. You BUY MY PORK!!!!!!!!!! I PAY WITH MY VOTE FOR YOUR PORK AND MAYBE SOUR KRAUT AND RED CABBAGE. It is not always a fair trade.

Not to denigrate those who actually work on the budget. They spend many TAXPAYER HOURS poring over the assets and debits and attempt to produce a budget document that they assume????????? is a sensible document that will pass without much controversy.

UNFORTUNATELY, the wonder of it all, is that they ignore items like Senator Ted Poe, Second District, Texas, brought up in session. The American public is unaware of what is in MOST Congressional budgets and this encourages some of the RIDICULOUS WASTE THAT CONTINUES !!!!!!!!!

Poe told the house that AMERICA gives FOREIGN AID TO 190 countries as a SINGLE PACKAGE OF AID which needs but hasn't gotten REEVALUATION. That PACKAGE OF AID TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES, according to Poe, who demonstrated the immensity on a map of the world, includes ALL OUR ENEMIES!!!!!!!!!!! Poe underscored that we are giving financial aid to our immediate enemies, verbal enemies, and waiting enemies. We include sending taxpayer money to Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and the entire middle East as well as CHINA. WE OWE CHINA ENOUGH MONEY TO WALL PAPER THE HOUSES OF A TRILLION CHINESE!!!!!!!!!!! Why are we giving them foreign aid??????????

WE SEND TAXPAYER'S MONEY TO ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY COUNTRIES, and that includes all but two of the worlds countries!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE RECIPIENTS ARE NEVER VOTED ON INDIVIDUALLY!!!!!!!!!AND NEVER EXPECTED TO PAY IT BACK!!!!!!

When the American public exhibited that kind of money 'budgeting'????????? in recent years, they lost their homes, their income and their security. WHEN YOU BUDGET AND SPEND BADLY, YOU END UP ON THE STREET OF "DREAMS"!!!!!! Because REALITY is going to VISIT YOU VERY SOON.

WONDER WHY WE GO TO WAR SO OFTEN????????????THAT'S OUR TAXPAYERS' MONEY WE'RE FIGHTING ABOUT using more of our Taxpayer's money(although the reason is often lost in the rhetoric) WITH SOME VAGUE HOPE WE'LL RECOVER SOME ADVANTAGE FOR GIVING THE FINANCIAL AID!!!!!!!!!!

GENEROSITY IS ONE THING!!!!!!!!!! STUPIDITY IS ANOTHER!!!!!!!!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!

We still haven't recovered all the money in FOREIGN AID WE GAVE AFTER WWII. WHAT DID WE GET BACK THEN???????????? ENEMIES!!!!!!!!!! There was an old saying: NEITHER A BORROWER OR LENDER BE!!!!!!!!!! WHY?????? The DISLIKE of BEING INDEBTED TO SOMEONE OR SOMETHING because of THE POWER ENDOWED. HATE THAT POWER often follows.

Somehow BUDGET COMMITTEES go over the IMMENSE list of EXPENSES OUR GOVERNMENT INCURS and the SMALLER LIST OF INCOME and manage to produce an ITEM called FOREIGN AID with no compunctions. Our enemies flew planes into our buildings in New York but got their CHECK AS USUAL AND HAVE BEEN GETTING IT EVER SINCE.

DON'T EVEN TRY THE ARGUMENT that we can't blame countries for these OVERT actions BY MEMBERS OF A TERRORIST GROUP. When government leaders THREATEN our citizens as they have DONE CONSTANTLY in the Middle East and ALLOW classes in special schools set up in their countries to teach KILLING AMERICANS, do we continue to finance these actions???????????

And that's only one example of how TAXPAYERS have become the BUTT of ANTI-AMERICANISM ALL OVER THE WORLD.

So when the media expresses relief that our government through COMPROMISE didn't need to shut down (AND SAVE BIG MONEY BY NOT OPERATING), don't sigh with relief. ASK WHAT AMERICA LOST BY COMPROMISE?????????? WHOSE PORK was bought?????

And even though American taxpayers were not physically there, our representatives were. Our agenda was in their hands. And most Americans asked for Congress to reduce the budget and in particular not to fund the new Obama health care bill. WHAT DID WE THE TAXPAYERS LOSE?????????? DID THEY UNDO THE HEALTH CARE FIASCO THAT OBAMA WANTS OR CAVE IN TO CRITICS?????????? The answer is " blowing in the wind".

Is it a war or not a war was being asked by many last week. According President Obama, it is a WAR not to be mentioned!!!!!! Obviously, he doesn't want to RUIN his chances for RE-ELECTION by calling a SPADE A SPADE or a WAR A WAR. Poor DOO-BEE, George Bush was too honest. He should have hidden the war in the Middle East under his BUSH-EL!!!!!

However, in the midst of the rhetoric on the NON-WAR, Obama said he believed we should ARM the rebels!!!!!!!!!!!! Now PLUEEZE.......... The rampant terrorist gangs in that area are likely to overcome the rebels when we leave or al-Qeada will simply buy the arms no longer needed by the rebels like they did in other Middle Eastern countries. We will be arming the ENEMY AGAINST AMERICA!!!!!!!!! PLEASE SAY IT ISN'T SO!!!!!!!

Would Obama really do such a thing?????????? And think Americans will never know. Obama is well aware that the Taliban has a strong hold and al-Qeada conducts schools in anti-American killing and terrorism in various parts of the Middle East as they play waiting games. When America armed the Taliban in the Middle East in President's Reagan's tenure, the arms landed in al-Qeada's camp after the rebels no longer need them. It seemed to Reagan and his staff a really good idea at the time. IT HAS PROVEN TO BE A TERRIBLE IDEA!!!!!!!!!! Obviously, getting into war in the Middle East is fast becoming a habit. Many senior Islamists predicted that if they could keep America engaged in various wars, the country would lose strength and resources and be defeated from within.

It would appear that is becoming a SELF-FULFILLING PROPHESY. REMEMBER.......the ISLAMISTS have been fighting CHRISTIANITY for 1000 years -ONE THOUSAND THAT IS !!!!!!!!!!!! Shouldn't we be paying attention to their PREDICTIONS based on all that EXPERIENCE??????? Or is that length of time a poor track record????? The desire to assist people who SAY they wish to be FREE is becoming our ACHILLES HEEL. It might be prudent to first ascertain the TRUTH OF THAT STATEMENT!!!!!!!!! It has not proven true in Iraq or Iran, no matter how much effort and money we have poured into those areas. Is it just POSSIBLE that what they MEAN IN THE MIDDLE EAST by the word FREEDOM has a DIFFERENT CONNOTATION than in AMERICA???????

Perhaps it means free from this ruler to move on to the next ruler. What do ELECTIONS REALLY MEAN to Islamists?????? The freedom to ELECT someone to HEAD THEIR CHURCH with a doctrine of religious demands which is seen in our country as SLAVERY NOT FREEDOM.

America's great ignorance of the MORES of other countries is a real detriment to the nation. This country is very far away from most of its neighbors and has little real contact with most of the world. The heart and soul of a country is not learned in books or on the net. It is learned by being a living, breathing member of that society and understanding the INTENT AS WELL AS THE MEANING OF THE LANGUAGE.

Yet our government has PUT itself in the position of making decisions and rules based on America's ethics, morals, and standards-its mores. Europe's greater proximity allows better interpretation of the Arab precepts but even that is not very HELPFUL since Europe's mores are MORE AKIN to America's.

The desire for great understanding between nations often overlooks the impediments that exist in each country's outlook, goals, and sense of well-being and security. People are not alike the world over. WOW, WHAT A REVELATION!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we have the same bodies BUT SO DO ANTS!!!!!!!!! Ants as you know live in many colonies, have different habitats and goals all the while facing grave dangers, and range in attitude from harmless to biting fire ants. People don't treat them the same without jeopardizing their OWN welfare.

ANTS YOU SAY are not an example of MAN'S PROBLEMS. LOOK AGAIN!!!!!!!!Maybe, the answers are right under America's nose (OR in AN INVASION IN THE KITCHEN).

If America sees itself as the SAVIOR of the WORLD, then it must have GOD-LIKE PRESCIENCE in order to save it as it desires to be saved. IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

So, perhaps America needs to RETHINK its goals and actions in terms of the folks it helps. The charity work America does is a WORTHY effort and for the most part seems to make those in need happy. THE WAR WORK involving AMERICA DOES NOT SEEM TO MAKE ANYONE HAPPY OR FREE.
