There was an article March 1 in Reason, online, passed on to me by one of my loyal followers that lists other reasons for optimism about America's future. AND THE BIGGIE; THE AMERICAN SPIRIT. It is our strength in all avenues including ECONOMICS.
We still retain that 'CAN-DO" SPIRIT that came from our forefathers! The article "Long Live the American Dream" by Shikha Dalmia says it this way:
"Americans have a grab-the-bull-by-its horns quality so that they simply don't hang around hoping for things to get better on their own. If the public school monopoly is failing kids, by golly, then they'll home school them themselves."..........Grass-roots movements such as the Tea Party emerge to rein in the government...........This American spirit, ultimately, is the biggest reason to believe that the American dream is and will stay alive--in America." Dalmia has a lot of reasons why. She says that China and India (she is Indian) lack the capital wealth, have a deficit in infrastructure and a societal deficit. In other words, China and India BRAG A LOT, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE THE REAL MEANS. They lack in their societies some basics that we take for granted: roads, water, sewage. Particularly in China, there is a large gap in societal welfare in particularly the rural areas. In both countries a type of "grinding poverty" exists, which she calls "medieval" with "300 million People" in each country "living on less than $1.25a day". See the last issue of National Geographic with a map showing a similar count.
"NEITHER COUNTRY IS A FONT OF OPPORTUNITY COMPARABLE TO AMERICA."
according to Dalmia, a senior analyst at Reason Foundation and a columnist at The Daily.
She cites "America's vast intangible wealth makes everyone more productive and successful." and even in EDUCATION the "literacy rate is 66% in India; and although China claimed "93%, between "2000 and 2005, China's illiterate population has grown statistically by 30million". It would seem a BIT OF FUDGING WAS GOING ON IN THEIR STATISTICS! The problem is their emphasis on elitist education-now happening in both countries. Even with their elitist education (only the brightest get educated) we produce immensely superior graduates and particularly in fields like ENGINEERING.
THE UPSHOT OF ALL THIS: THEIR PUBLIC RELATIONS "BULL SHIT" IS FAR SUPERIOR TO OURS!!!!!!!!!!!! In other words, we don't lie as good BECAUSE WE DON'T NEED TO!!!!!!!!!!!
AND Dalmia says, "By, contrast Americans are their own worst critics--always looking for lessons to improve what is working and fix what's not." She calls China and India's projections the "culture of HYPE". Because of our standards, we are the culture of HOPE.
Alexis de Tocqueville observed ALTHOUGH "AMERICANS WERE THE FREEST AND MOST ENLIGHTENED MEN PLACED IN THE HAPPIEST OF CONDITIONS......a sort of cloud habitually covered their features."......"because they were constantly tormented by a vague fear of not having chosen the shortest route that can lead to....their well being."

PRETTY DUMB. There's an old saying in sales. If you don't talk about your product, it must mean that the other guy's product is better. We have in recent years been criticized into EATING HUMBLE PIE by our jealous fellow world citizens. AND WE HAVE FOLLOWED THEIR ADVICE. EVEN DUMBER!!!!!!!!!!! It's time to stop LYING and tell the world just HOW WELL WE HAVE DONE WITH OUR RESOURCES, HOW MUCH WE CONTRIBUTE TO THE WORLD WITH OUR IDEALS, IDEAS, AND INTERNATIONAL OUTLOOK AND CONSUMPTION WHICH OUR FREEDOM ALLOWS.
If they can't handle our SUCCESS maybe they SHOULD TAKE A FLYING LEAP INTO BECOMING A FREE SOCIETY WITH CAN-DO ATTITUDES!!!!!!!!!!!so that they REALLY have a chance to compete with us. SHERLOCK ASKED: AND WHAT IS YOUR VIEW OF ALL THIS, WATSON? POST 52
Hi,
There have been a number of stories about the new technology of the future. Corning Glass is offering information on the many uses for strong varieties of glass recently invented and combined with computer like devices. These include menus in your bathroom mirror to select daily items, remind you of this or that, and give you calendar and time reminders. The new glass offers many uses in all areas of the technology of home and business. How much all of these innovations will add the cost of your home or business is a moot point as well as a mute one!
I don't know about you but that's more morning information than I can really handle without breaking the mirror!!!!!!!!!!
An article that really intrigued me was out of Yorktown Heights, New York where an IBM room sized COMPUTER (remember the first computer unveiled was also room sized and miniaturized in a surprising short time!!!!!) competed against MAN (generic) in thinking.
Now I should be more stunned by that but when you consider the thinking that most of mankind is inclined to do either through lack of ambition or intelligence, I'm compelled to think that it's about time a machine was invented to do just that!!!!!!!!!!! Problem is that such a machine is being created by the same stated mankind so unless the machine can teach itself to think for itself, I don't see much improvement happening but life might get easier!!!!!!!!
To illustrate that point, take the occasion and the million dollar prize IBM set up to test the machine. They took a JEOPARDY! contestant who won 74 consecutive games and two other big winners and pitted them against their computer, WATSON, named after the founder of IBM as is the research lab.
Fortunately, WATSON eventually WON big time since the game requires encyclopedic recall (no problem); untangling convoluted and opaque statements (a little problem but not much); strategic button-pressing (duck soup-EASY); and a bit of luck (WHOOPS!!!!!!!! WATSON WAS NOT BUILT TO BE LUCKY!!!!!!) But since only a bit of luck was required, the final amounts were: WATSON, $77,147.00; 74 GAME WINNER, $24,000.00; AND A THIRD CONTESTANT, $21,600.00. Not a bad price for a publicity stunt since WATSON couldn't spend the cash prize!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WATSON is now being groomed for, among other things, uses in doctor's practices and consumer buying. I'm not sure what one has to do with the other but doctors do sell a lot of profit making laboratory tests so I can only think that maybe WATSON will become a SUPER SALESMAN!!!!!!!!!!
WATSON'S big victory, however, was in stopping the LAUGHTER in Silicon Valley that started in the 1980's when companies who funded the 1960 vision of a thinking robot machine, were heavily invested, and went belly up!!!! The audience of IBM execs and clients, however, were quick to laugh at a huge 'faux pas' by Watson in answering Toronto for a large U.S. city and its clues. Hey, remember "mankind" programmed Watson so his intelligence is limited by his teachers!!!!!!!!!!
On the serious side of these ingenious machines, IBM announced that it will collaborate with Columbia University and the University of Maryland to create a physicians assistance service to help doctors in their illness research. They can query a "cybernetic assistant" quickly and easily on a machine that will have voice recognition. And this usage for WATSON could be ready in a few years. It will help a very memory oriented profession by providing new tools that create shortcuts to information on needed medical issues.
The three day competition put on by IBM's T.J. Watson Research Laboratory certainly proved to be a real vindication for a field of computer science that is only in its infancy. It is already parallel with STAR TREK in having a machine that can understand and answer questions but the testing indicates that the advances in the future will be more than mind boggling.
It tends to provide proof of what I wrote when all the financial troubles began and moaning and groaning was heard across America. WE ARE A VERY INVENTIVE SOCIETY and won't be kept in the DARK AGES OF POLITICAL warfare by any theorists, no matter how powerful or monied. Americans can remain in the forefront of this technological revolution and our inventive genius will go a long way to providing the freedom from oppression that our country desires.
REMEMBER SOME OF OUR GREATEST COMFORTS HAVE COME FROM AMERICAN INVENTORS. A FACT THAT IS OFTEN OVERLOOKED!!!!!!!!!!That is why other societies and radical thinkers dislike and fear America. We have the TALENT to continue to play through!!!!!!!!! Support the inventors and the inventions as Wall Street has done! Embrace PRIVATE ENTERPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THESE ARE OUR STRENGTHS AS A NATION!!!!!!!!!!!
AND REALIZE WE HAVE ONLY SCRATCHED THE SURFACE OF THE NEW TECHNOLOGIES. Remember how far fetched "science fiction" seemed but we will soon have tools that far surpass the fiction. MACHINES can NOW be programmed TO UNDERSTAND AND RESPOND TO HUMANS and they will replace people in many jobs BUT THEY WILL CREATE NEW JOBS in service, care taking and programming, and whatever. New kinds of services will become available that have yet to be invented or even dreamed about since no tool exists yet for the innovations. The future is ours if we UNDERSTAND that!!!!!!!!!

THE MEDIA AIN'T IN THIS FOR NO LIGHT COURTIN'

EGYPT!!!
We all followed the revolution that the Media helped along until the Media got bashed by ordinary citizens commanded by either the establishment or the rioters or both.
Considering the beating and raping an ill-advised female reporter from CBS got from a supposedly celebratory revolutionary crowd, it's a toss up which side objected to media interference the most. The reporter had been removed from Egypt after complaints and reentered the country that day, bragging to an associate who called her crazy, that she was without fear. Whether this was with or without CBS approval is not clear. What is clear; she was not wanted there, refused to be deterred, and placed herself in the danger. Tragic but arrogant. Arrogance is certainly an apt term for the media's attitude now.
Economically, we are already suffering the former unrest in the Middle East as gasoline prices rise, since we are determined to BUY Middle Eastern FRIENDSHIP????by buying their oil instead of using what already exists in our own country. Egypt's lack of government affects the ongoing relations with Israel and with whatever type of government comes out of the revolution. There is no guarantee of any new power's friendliness to us or Israel which could mean a new Middle Eastern war. I hope it becomes the government of Egypt's choice but there is no guarantee in revolution. Cost to us, of course; tax dollars.
The media is now in the stage of MAKING NEWS NOT JUST COVERING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! DANGER. WE don't elect the Media and we can't interfere with them so our input to their actions has to be through our knowledge of those actions.
When they become overbearing on any subject: revolution, health, and spreading fear with government bias, national security, even the weather's dramatic issues; we have to become constant in our ridicule of their methods before they and they alone are in a position to take away what little freedom we have left. REMEMBER, MEDIA IS ACTUALLY THE BIG MONEY THAT everyone is always talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY'RE NOT IN THIS "FOR NO LIGHT COURTIN", FOLKS. "THEYS" GOLD IN THEM THERE RIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not a some to all blog. There are lots of reporters both on TV and in the other news associations that MEAN REALLY WELL. (remember that is not necessarily a compliment on my part) but there is also a large executive group controlling media to MAKE MONEY. Nothing would please them more than to see U.S. citizens (who have a right to peacefully gather and protest) actually take to our streets to ruthlessly and violently take down our government--Democrat or Republican--because the news coverage would be sensationalized.
Witness what happened in Wisconsin with the teacher unions this week. The amount of press coverage they received in a bankrupt state made the teachers seem greedy and the union look corrupt. Or from a different point of view, the Governor seemed high-handed and unsympathetic to the teacher's low salary needs. Certainly, not a fair assessment of their state or those involved. A headline in today's local paper claimed there are union conflicts all over the United States. The article concentrated on Wisconsin and ONLY speculation about Florida and other states. No other street conflict mention AT ALL. But the media obviously hopes a revolutionary virus is catching and that we citizens will catch it and give them lots of "news making MONEY"?????!!!!!!!!!
We are very fortunate at present to live under a very stable Constitution which provides PLENTY OF VOTER CHANGES at regular elections. Because of election laws and other constitutional avenues, Americans are in a constant position of being able to dump corrupt officials or make elective changes where necessary. Our 2010 election proved that to be true and this keeps our country more stable than most. We cannot allow an over-active media TO STIR UP news making events that lead our citizens down paths that are not to their advantage.
VIOLENT UNREST is not a sign of freedom but is a sign of BAD GOVERNMENT LAID ON BAD FOUNDATIONS with no other option for the people to remedy.
Although we glorify our original revolution in America, remember it happened BEFORE our forefathers were wise enough to LAY A GOOD FOUNDATION to GOVERNMENT in our country. Our Constitution provides the strong TRIPARTITE form of government by election to rational terms of office for the elected.
Our Constitution provides the deep cement foundation on which our national house is built. DON'T LET THE MEDIA CONVINCE YOU THAT WE NEED ANOTHER REVOLUTION.
IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!! WE SIMPLY NEED TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OFFERED TO US BY OUR CONSTITUTION!!!!!!!!!
Standing in line to vote in 2008, someone overheard a heavily accented man, who was a NEW AMERICAN say to the person behind him, "What a great country. Anywhere else in the world, an election like this would have required a REVOLUTION! WHAT A GREAT COUNTRY!" That really says it all, doesn't it???????????
And when we decided to change directions, we did so in 2010 and we have 2012 to look forward to changing even more. AREN'T WE FORTUNATE!!!!!!!!!!REMEMBER OUR FREEDOMS!!!!!!!!!!

REVERSE CAN BE TRICKY IN A CAR AND A MORTGAGE

In our Easy Economics blogs, we have covered a number of government created problems. The reason is that the Government creates a number of problems that we wind up paying for in our taxes and also in our cost of living. The horrendous mortgage problems caused by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (covered in a previous blog) have still to be recorded economically and paid.
The current rise in prices is a direct result of the whole economic debacle that we'll be cleaning up for years to come. Media optimism is always a sign of bad times to follow. If you listen to TV with a cynical ear, it can tell you quite a lot about the days ahead.
Unfortunately, one of the casualties of the current economic downturn has been what the government touted as the safest of all investments: REVERSE MORTGAGES!!!!!!!!!
What is a REVERSE MORTGAGE??????? An idea that affects many senior homeowners.
REVERSE MORTGAGES allow seniors (your parents or grandparents) to convert their home equity into cash. Instead of paying the bank each month for a mortgage, the senior gets paid. The payment is made either in a lump sum, a line of credit, or in monthly payments and is based on the appraised value of their home at that time. Homeowners must be 62 to qualify. BUT and this is a BIG BUTT: annual taxes and insurance are the responsibility of the homeowner.

After the mortgage was satisfied, the amount of cash now in the home owner's bank account had to carry them for a long period of time but they were expected by the Government to save out (as the government reckoned they would) the cost for taxes and home insurance. Some did.
Wouldn't it have occurred to at least one government official that like a regular mortgage payment, the cost of taxes and insurance be put in escrow, before payment was made to the homeowner? No, that would require creative thinking--something always lacking in political schemes. AFTER ALL THERE'S ALWAYS MORE MONEY IN TAXPAYER'S POCKETS.
That doesn't excuse the individuals who did not take their responsibilities!!!! A condition often found in Government inspired HELP? But that some of the homeowners taking advantage of this situation in large part were not financially robust and perhaps not even financially able should have been obvious to the lenders and the government.
Now, good old HUD (remember them--the scandal ridden agency so prevalent some years ago and still with us) must now collect the money so that the Reverse Mortgage program is "Not at Risk". Although the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association is playing down A FORECLOSURE THREAT for these AT RISK seniors, payment plans have been set up for the delinquencies with a two year limit for those over $5000. What happens if they can't pay??????????
That's a REALLY INTERESTING QUESTION that the government isn't answering. Of course to avoid foreclosure, the debt can be forgiven and the costs can come out of tax money. WHAT ELSE IS NEW?????????

HUD has allocated $3 Million for housing counseling agencies to help reverse mortgage homeowners (out of tax pockets) but the real amount of the delinquent debt has not been made readily available. But we do know that there are 30,000 delinquent homeowners (or about 5%) nationwide

In our Easy Economics blogs, we have covered a number of government created problems. The reason is that the Government creates a number of problems that we wind up paying for in our taxes and also in our cost of living. The horrendous mortgage problems caused by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (covered in a previous blog) have still to be recorded economically and paid.
The current rise in prices is a direct result of the whole economic debacle that we'll be cleaning up for years to come. Media optimism is always a sign of bad times to follow. If you listen to TV with a cynical ear, it can tell you quite a lot about the days ahead.
Unfortunately, one of the casualties of the current economic downturn has been what the government touted as the safest of all investments: REVERSE MORTGAGES!!!!!!!!!
What is a REVERSE MORTGAGE??????? An idea that affects many senior homeowners.
REVERSE MORTGAGES allow seniors (your parents or grandparents) to convert their home equity into cash. Instead of paying the bank each month for a mortgage, the senior gets paid. The payment is made either in a lump sum, a line of credit, or in monthly payments and is based on the appraised value of their home at that time. Homeowners must be 62 to qualify. BUT and this is a BIG BUTT: annual taxes and insurance are the responsibility of the homeowner.

DHIMMITUDE PROCLAIMS SERVITUDE

Since our government mistakenly applied DHIMMITUDE to the new health care bill, it becomes a factor of our economics since it is being used as a religious reason to excuse Muslims and Amish from SOME health care rulings like insurance purchase and that means the rest of the tax-payers make up the costs. If we excuse one or two segments then we should not mandate insurance purchase for any.
Since most of us have not had an education in DHIMMITUDE, I offer a definition first. I DO NOT PROVIDE PRONUNCIATION.
DHIMMITUDE, according to Word IQ, is loosely defined as a 'PEOPLE OF THE BOOK" who live in lands UNDER MUSLIM RULE, and have been classified as JEWS and CHRISTIANS. Some claim other religions although not "People of the Book" are also included. Notice that phrase-LANDS UNDER MUSLIM RULE which, of course, does not apply in America. More on that later.
DHIMMI OR ZIMMI was defined in classical Islam legal and political literature as "a person living IN a Muslim state, who is a member of an OFFICIALLY TOLERATED non-Muslim religion. (Literally meaning: PROTECTED PERSON). It comes from the Arabic root "dh-m-m" so "dhimma" means "being in the care of". In the Middle Ages this concept was considered comparatively tolerant. ALL THINGS BEING RELATIVE!!!!!!TOLERANCE WAS JUST BEGINNING TO SEEM RELEVANT IN THAT ANCIENT TIME.
Muslims governing populations conquered by JIHAD wars used DHIMMITUDE and Shari'a law. and these ruled peoples became a civilization call DHIMMITUDE; ie: peoples conquered and colonized by JIHAD.

Muslims in this country live as they please but as citizens of the United States of America (WHERE I MIGHT ADD--RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IS NOT ONLY CONDONED BUT ENCOURAGED!!!!!!!!!!) ALL CITIZENS ARE REQUIRED TO live by the law of the land. What in the name of HEAVEN (gosh, is that politically correct????????) was Congress doing when that bill was presented???????? Did they even realize this was not a religious issue but one of law and that we are not ruled by Muslim law?????????If we were, they wouldn't be in Congress at all nor would there be a Congress. Gets more idiotic all the time, doesn't it?????????
THE HEALTH CARE BILL by the very nature of its constant POLITICAL nature should be repealed. The bill was not used to increase health care in America but to increase the POLITICAL TENANTS of one party and evidently ONE RELIGION. We do not have a perfect system but all citizens can get care at the various clinics and emergency rooms around the nation. We are not shunning the poor and needy, who can ill afford insurance, and who would often suffer the most with waiting lists of three or four months or more UNDER the kind of health care now recommended by this bill. Many have said we had the best health care in the world. Any improvements required should be made in small increments that allow Americans to pay as they go, rather than incurring a substantial debt. HAVE WE LEARNED SOMETHING FROM THE CURRENT DOWNTURN. DEBT BECOMES DUE!!!!!!!!!!!!AT SOME POINT and can take AMERICA down with it!!!!!!!!!!!

IT'S A GREEN THING

Hope your holidays were healthy, happy, and harmonious!
This blog covers my Economic status and we'll hopefully cover Dhimmitude next blog.
In case you noticed, I took a vacation from my blog to publish my E- book .....ABSOLUTE POWER! ....on AMAZON as well as BARNES AND NOBLE. You can find it by typing in the book name WITH THE EXCLAMATION POINT to separate it from other books of the same name. It is a work of fiction about a 1950's imaginary family surrounding the election of a U.S. President, who is assassinated. The history included is "THE WAY IT WAS" although the events are figments of my imagination. By the way, in those far off days, a man named WALTER CRONKITE on early TV used to close his show by saying "AND THAT'S THE WAY IT WAS".
I hope you'll want to buy it and enjoy it! I'm competing with 3 million other authors so every sale is a major triumph for my writing.
I guess I should talk some about E-BOOKS since many folks haven't yet experienced the reading genre. It is part of the new world of media and may be a permanent wave of the future if paper for books continues to be a source of concern in evolving green politics. Bookstores are promoting it although it may well signal the decline of neighborhood book stores. Libraries may have to install more reader equipment for E-books and less paper books.
It began with the popularity by young people of two products called the AMAZON "KINDLE" AND THE BARNES AND NOBLE "NOOK" that are hand-held readers about the size of a medium sized book. They operate in a limited way but on air waves like the computer. You can read, buy, and exchange books on them. The books remain in your electronic library or can be put in storage or ARCHIVED within the device.Very handy when you want to retrieve them.
In order for folks not to be left out of the ability to read the E-BOOKS, Amazon and Barnes and Noble have provided FREE SOFTWARE on their E-BOOK sites to be downloaded to a computer or other device so that you can buy and read an E-Book without purchasing a new device. This includes I-Phones and other electronic items as well as the computer. IT ALSO PROVIDES AN INDICATION THAT BOOKSELLERS SEE E-BOOKS AS THE PROFIT WAVE OF THE FUTURE AND WANT FOLKS TO GET USED TO READING THEM!!!!!!!!!!
The electronic age is only getting started and many beloved institutions may see their final days. Each new century seems to usher in radical new changes and this century is no exception. Already combined into one device are phones, computers, cameras, video recorders, and TVs. The device is currently very costly but is another preview of things to come.
As for my book ABSOLUTE POWER! being termed on the CUTTING EDGE is perhaps an over-statement but it is close. However, as a very dear friend used to say, "It is as bad to be ahead of your time as behind it" and so far, sales tend to bear that out. I believe once people start reading it, my book will build on its own but getting it started in the face of massive competition is a conundrum. (I haven't used that word in a long time; it's a lovely sound although puzzlement is good too!!!!).
So, I hope you'll forgive me for "flogging" ABSOLUTE POWER! on my Blog but there are no book signings with E-Books, no interviews holding the book aloft, and no Oprah E- book list.

FREEDOM DOESN'T COME FREE!
Hi,
Economically the November 2, 2010 election told the President and reassured the citizenship that pure Fabian Socialism was not the right choice for America's economic government. This was an important election because the country had reached a crossroads. Although allowing a little socialism to creep into the system, a change from the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Representative government to a fully Socialist government was voted against.
This is not the end of our need to protect our rights in America. Socialism has been creeping into the system for over seventy years and socialists made the assumption from that constant invasion that Americans had lost our thirst for freedom and their rights. THEY WILL TRY AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!! The need in the future to continue vigilance is imperative. That vigilance was neglected for a lot of years and it almost cost Americans their country. Let's hope that MISTAKE won't be made again. FREEDOM DOESN'T COME FREE. It requires VOLUNTEERISM and it hasn't been getting it.
If regular volunteers to some good cause consider volunteering for some POLITICAL issues, there would be constant watches on the politicians. There are committees, political parties and constitutional causes. New committees could be formed with the knowledge now available. Citizens must work as hard at assuring liberty as any GOOD CAUSE out there. Form groups to understand and protect the Constitution and Bill of Rights, study recent LEGISLATIVE BILLS before they pass (THE SOCIALIST WILL) so that continuing attempts to water down THE REPUBLIC or CHANGE it to something not desired, will meet with immediate opposition.
THIS IS A RESPONSIBILITY that the Socialist would prefer not to be taken by citizens so it has stopped being taught in schools. NOTICE that CIVICS IS NO LONGER TAUGHT!!!!!!!That said, on to the economic problem.
The Bill of Rights says (by the way you can look it up on the web) in Amendment II says: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
THIS IS A FAVORITE FOR THE SOCIALISTS TO ATTACK. It's obvious why. It plays on our emotions. States rights are often tested to see if the Feds can violate them such as the debacle between Obama and the Colorado Governor. Freedom of religion is often mocked and so on. But the concept of citizens having arms has frightened away most enemies. We are capable of total revolution in this country while armed so it's no wonder the enemies of our system of government would like to see them gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To bear arms is AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CONCEPT that allows a free country to have a free economy and deter PIRATES, and other predators, who by the way always lie in wait for OPPORTUNITY, WEAKNESS, AND STUPIDITY. It is sad to think Americans must always look over a shoulder for the BANDITS whether they are SOCIALISTS or FREE TRADERS but REALISTICALLY that is the way of the world .
BEARING ARMS means to keep armed AGAINST the INVADERS. It does not mean to go out and start shooting . YES, there will be a few who misuse guns but THE MAJORITY of the over 300 MILLION people have not shot other people recently, have they?
That's America's population and the use of guns illegally or irresponsibly is minuscule compared to that number of people. And those villains who chose to MISUSE the freedom to bear to bear arms would locate them elsewhere if not available here, or use something equally as dangerous. (LIKE A ROCK--CAVE MEN MADE GOOD USE OF ROCKS). Reasonably and factually, shooting incidents involve very little of the population so there's little need to go over the top and play into the hands of the enemies of FREEDOM.
Keep your new representatives in the house aware OF POSSIBLE LEGISLATIVE BOONDOGGLES against our Bill of Rights, that might be passed over by a new and possibly unaware Congress. The SOCIALISTS have said that no CATASTROPHE should go unnoticed (like the OBAMA SHELLACKING) since it can be used to further their cause. So they won't take this election without increasing the amount of legislation and hiding the purposes if necessary.
Stay alert to ALL your freedoms even if they don't DIRECTLY affect you. You may not own a gun, you may not want to own one. But if you allow that freedom to be removed, what may it cost you ECONOMICALLY in the rights that do affect you? If the enemies of our form of government see one right go, how long before they attack the remainder?
What about STATE'S RIGHTS; FREEDOM OF SPEECH; THE RIGHT TO PREVENT UNREASONABLE SEARCH AND SEISURE; DUE PROCESS OF LAW; THE RIGHT FOR A JURY TRIAL AND DEFENSE COUNCIL; THE RULES OF COMMON LAW FOR THE PEOPLE; THE RIGHT FOR REASONABLE BAIL; AND ALL RIGHTS NOT IN THE BILL OF RIGHTS GO TO THE PEOPLE.
These precepts are talem for granted but there are more countries without them than those who have some of them. Freedom was economically dear (costly) to our ancestors. Whatever small contributions of time and effort should not be seen as a burden. It is the land of the FREE AND THE BRAVE, NO MATTER HOW OUR ENEMIES MOCK THAT!!!!!!!!! Stop listening to them and start living the American Dream and make the responsibility for freedom as popular as the Communists have made Fabian Socialism. It's a HELL OF A LOT MORE FUN to be free than living under someone else's rule!!!!!!!!!!!!
OUR FOREFATHERS were genius in their approach to this new country, let's honor that genius by holding firm.

Economically the November 2, 2010 election told the President and reassured the citizenship that pure Fabian Socialism was not the right choice for America's economic government. This was an important election because the country had reached a crossroads. Although allowing a little socialism to creep into the system, a change from the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Representative government to a fully Socialist government was voted against.
This is not the end of our need to protect our rights in America. Socialism has been creeping into the system for over seventy years and socialists made the assumption from that constant invasion that Americans had lost our thirst for freedom and their rights. THEY WILL TRY AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!! The need in the future to continue vigilance is imperative. That vigilance was neglected for a lot of years and it almost cost Americans their country. Let's hope that MISTAKE won't be made again. FREEDOM DOESN'T COME FREE. It requires VOLUNTEERISM and it hasn't been getting it.
If regular volunteers to some good cause consider volunteering for some POLITICAL issues, there would be constant watches on the politicians. There are committees, political parties and constitutional causes. New committees could be formed with the knowledge now available. Citizens must work as hard at assuring liberty as any GOOD CAUSE out there. Form groups to understand and protect the Constitution and Bill of Rights, study recent LEGISLATIVE BILLS before they pass (THE SOCIALIST WILL) so that continuing attempts to water down THE REPUBLIC or CHANGE it to something not desired, will meet with immediate opposition.
THIS IS A RESPONSIBILITY that the Socialist would prefer not to be taken by citizens so it has stopped being taught in schools. NOTICE that CIVICS IS NO LONGER TAUGHT!!!!!!!That said, on to the economic problem.
