Elections bring the fantasy world right into your home. Numbers and predictions, both dire and advantageous, about budgets and spending ring in with a sense of truth and verification.

Of course, no one mentions who compiled them or who verified them so they could have been made up out of whole cloth to astonish you. Oh yes, they mention the Government budget office but do not tie it to any one person. They mention Republicans or Democrats (however not socialists-we're still playing that game!) but never tie it to any one person. Why not? The first rule of newspaper writing USED TO BE verifying your source!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!!!!!!!! in NEWSPAPERS OR MEDIA. VERIFYING THE SOURCE MAKES A PLACE FOR BLAME; MAKES ENEMIES FOR THE MEDIA; AND PROOF CAN BE SHOWN OF THE ERROR if it turns out there is one.

So, what now? WHO DO WE BELIEVE AND HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING? Well, my Dad used to have an old "SAW". TAKE WHAT IS GIVEN AS THE "TRUTH", CUT IT IN HALF, THEN CUT IT IN HALF AGAIN AND IT MAY BE NEAR CORRECT. It works pretty well. Or his PIE IN THE SKY THEORY--IF YOU CAN'T GET IT DOWN, CUT IT AND EAT IT. IT DOESN'T EXIST! VERY UN-SCIENTIFIC but you have to do something to fight losing your way in the FOG OF ECONOMIC FANTASY.

It appears that we can believe certain rates and figures. For sake of argument, the DOW JONES tanked on Wednesday for a third day in triple digit losses because of predicted losses in Europe. EVEN TECHNOLOGY TANKED!!!!!!!!! We do so much selling and buying world wide that our own resources can be drastically affected by anywhere in the world. These explanations seem plausible.

There are predictions of another recession even though U.S. government debt is considered relatively safe (ALL FISCAL PROBLEMS BEING SEEN AS EQUAL) OUR YIELD ON THE 10 YEAR TREASURY NOTE FELL TO ANOTHER LOW AND THE DOLLAR SAW A TWO YEAR HIGH AGAINST THE EURO. THE GOOD OLD SOCIALIST INSPIRED EURO WHICH HAS PROBLEMS ON ITS PROBLEMS. Since Germany will probably have to support weaker economies in Europe like Italy, Spain and Greece, investors are being warned by Moody's Investors' Service that Germany's shouldering a greater financial burden may affect their credit ratings.

Let's look at Spain. We've covered Greece in past blogs. It's needs sent the Euro to a new low on the first of the week which of course affected the Dow. Investors have pulled back from risk (where riches are made) into the safety?????? of our government bonds. One wave sends the next higher. So, of course borrowing became more expensive for both Spain and Italy while the declining economic output makes it near impossible to deal with debts. With high interest rates going higher on borrowing costs for Spain and Italy, Greece may lose emergency loans that it needs to avoid default since it has failed to hit its specified targets from two bailouts.

On top of all this we find that a Chinese central bank forecast that China's economic growth was slowing even further after 3 years of growth reduction.Some economists hoped China woluld be able to compensate for Europe and the U.S. slowdowns but the lassitude appears to be spreading to China. NONE OF THIS, IN CASE YOU HATE READING THE WRITING ON THE WALL, IS ANYTHING BUT BAD NEWS FOR EVERYONE AND COULD LEAD TO ENLARGING AND FURTHERING THE CURRENT RECESSION.

YOU HEAR A LOT OF BLATHERING ABOUT A DEADLOCKED CONGRESS AND THAT is a bad thing!!!!!!! WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN PRESENTLY!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T SPEND ANY MORE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T PASS ANY MORE BILLS!!!!!!!! TRY TO SAVE WHATEVER IS LEFT IN THE TREASURY OR WE COULD GO DOWN!!!!!!!! DOWN!!!!!!!! DOWN!!!!!!!!

FOLKS, UNFORTUNATELY, BY BECOMING WORLD TRADERS ON A ENORMOUS SCALE we are affected by the WORLD'S ECONOMY. OUR CONGRESS, BOTH THE HAWKS AND THE SOCIALIST LIBERALS, have to yield on REDUCING THE BUDGETS no matter how much it hurts. AND IT NEVER HURTS AS MUCH AS THE DIRE PREDICTIONS!!!!!!!!!

GREECE, ITALY AND SPAIN WERE GIVEN EARLY WARNINGS WHICH THEY CHOSE TO IGNORE and much like those in our CONGRESS YELLING FOR ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER TO GIVE IN. ENCOURAGE THEM TO CONTINUE THE IMPASSE UNTIL JANUARY!!!!!!

WHY JANUARY??????????? The election will be over. HOPEFULLY WE WILL HAVE SEATED A MORE REASONABLE AND BUDGET CONSCIOUS CONGRESS AND HOPEFULLY A NEW PRESIDENT, WHO WILL USE HIS POWERS IN THE EXCUTIVE OFFICE TO .......SAVE AMERICA..........NOT RUIN IT FINANCIALLY!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only is this an election to save our REPUBLIC and our CONSTITUTION with our VALUES against A CLEAR SOCIALIST THREAT but it is an ELECTION TO SAVE OUR ECONOMY and bring us back to the LEVEL OF ECONOMIC ENDEAVOR of which we are capable if we get the GOVERNMENT OFF OUR BACKS.

CLEARLY SOCIALIST ECONOMIC AND FISCAL PLANS HAVE FAILED IN EUROPE AND IN CHINA where a launch into a CAPITALIST system was a little too late and a little too little. WHY ARE WE FLIRTING WITH SOCIALIST ECONOMY HERE??????????? THE HUMONGOUS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN CHINA FAILED and is now a mere shadow of itself. YOU DON'T HEAR MUCH ABOUT THAT DO YOU??????????? MAN'S VISION OF ETERNITY COMPARES TO A BABY CHICK IN THE SHELL BEFORE BIRTH. POST 116

THIS IS A TRICKY SUBJECT AND ONE MOST PRUDENT INDIVIDUALS AVOID. Can't accuse this correspondent of that!

This blogger came out of the school of "laissez-faire". Folks should be allowed to believe what they wish to believe as long as it doesn't include physical harm to others.

The Buddha (wise sayings although I'm not a Buddhist) once compared man's VISIONS OF ETERNITY TO A BABY CHICK WITH A SHELL BEFORE BIRTH. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S OUT THERE!!! We don't really have a clue to what's happening around us most of the time let alone taking ON A VIEW OF THE UNIVERSE OR ETERNITY. We are locked in a shell and can only glimpse outside. Here and now ARE in our view.

So, I can't understand what makes any sect believe they have all the answers. I have provided the following NAMED GROUPS just enough information to make my point. Please don't look for descriptions of great character and depth.

The Communists claim they are too intelligent and scientific to believe in God or any higher power than the power they create. Well, good luck with that. Sooner or later as in the current financial fiasco and jobless rates all over the world, they have to admit (at least to themselves) that it's not going too well. INTELLECT is their God.

The Atheists believe that only unintelligent folk believe in the mysterious and fantasy like stories of a higher being and a more PRAGMATIC approach is the only answer. Their approach is that DENIAL is the only answer. Denial drives their wagon unless they join Communism.

The Muslims believe that Mohammed laid it all out in the Koran centuries ago and all they have to do is FOLLOW THE RULES. Well, good luck with that. The constant confusions and wars in the Middle East may one day make it clear that all the answers either were not there or interrupted incorrectly.

The Jewish faith believes the Talmud shows them as the chosen people and their land the chosen land and that they should prevail. Good luck with that, every monster regime that comes out of the woodwork feels it has to challange that postion. Sooner or later, all Jews must face up to the fact that bearing a torch casts too much light and makes them an easy target.

And we have all the Eastern "isms": Shintoism, Hindoism, Budhaism, Taosim and Confusionism, (the latter long overshadowed by Communism); all of them, of course, believe that the right way has been laid before them and pointed out irrevocably. Good luck with that, as the centuries of Asian Wars underlined.

The Christians believe that those who follow The Bible and God will find redemption and the promised land in Heaven and that hell is the punishment for sin and the after life will be the reward for a particularly good life. Best of luck with that guarantee. Atrocity or charitible living may not find either punishment or reward except as it affects others in the here and now. There is no way to know. FAITH IS THE TOOL OF CHRISTIANS.

AND GUESS WHAT???????????? THE WHOLE KIT AND KABOODLE ARE RIGHT ABOUT THEIR RIGHT TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU PROVE THEM WRONG???????? ON WHAT ETERNALLY BASED EVIDENCE CAN YOU DISPUTE ANY OF THEIR CLAIMS???????????

BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY??????????? SO WHAT?????????? THAT ONLY PROVES ONE THING------YOU BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY--------HOORAY FOR YOUR SIDE.

NO ONE IS FREE OF THE EGG SHELL THAT HIDES THE TRUTH AND WISDOM OF ETERNITY. IS IT A COLD, HARD SPACE IN THE GROUND, ASHES ON THE WIND OR IS IT A PLACE OF WELCOME WHERE ALL IS PERFECT??????????? WE DON'T KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! AND THE DEAD ARE NOT TALKING!!!!!!!!!!!So, what's the argument all about???????? IT'S NO WIN-NO WIN SITUATION!!!!!!!

Point of view???? There is that!!!!! Devotion????? A factor, certainly!!!!! Belief beyond any willingness to doubt???? Okay!!!!! I could add more reasons and certainly you have important ones I've left out but the point is not WHY WE BELIEVE AS WE DO. IT IS ABOUT WHAT OUR INVESTMENT IN A CERTAIN BELIEF.

Each group is tied to A BELIEF that can be followed without argument, reason, or responsibility. The belief takes from man's hands the CHAOTIC chores, disputes, and decisions that are too overwhelming to handle ALONE!!!!!!!!!!! The non-believers in deity accept their PHILOSOPHY as their MARGIN OF FAITH. IF YOU DON'T THINK COMMUNISM IS A FAITH----THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT GIVES THEM THE POWER OF GROUP!!!!!

THE CERTAINTY OF SOME kind of PHILOSOPHY LIKE THE 'ISMS' OR SOME SUPER-HUMAN BEING FORMULATING A DOCTRINE GREATER THAN MAN'S ABILITY, MAKES LIFE BEARABLE. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS THAT CAN SEEM SO INEXPLICABLE IS NOT "YOUR" OR "THEIR" FAULT BUT FATE OF SOME SORT THAT MUST BE BORNE WITHOUT COMPLAINT TO MAKE THE WORLD RIGHT AGAIN.

SO WHY IN THE NAME OF ALL THE GODS AND NON-GODS DO WE HAVE TO DESTROY ANY OF THAT JUST TO PROVE THAT ONE OR THE OTHER IS RIGHT OR WRONG??????? LEAVE THEM THEIR "BLANKIE" TO HOLD CLOSE.

YOU KNOW WHY WE ACT THIS WAY????????? OF COURSE YOU DO!!!!!!

HAVE YOU ANY IDEA SPIRITUALLY AND FINANCIALLY HOW MUCH MAN'S EGO COSTS THE WORLD?????????? IN WAR, IN PEACE, IN BETWEEN. WHO DO WE BLAME FOR A WORLD GONE MAD? POST 115

As we all know financial economics go in cycles, the "upzy and downzy" cycles, and in so doing present some interesting history. There's a new book out on the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company's start and it has some facts that are analogous to the PRESENT TECHNOLOGY REVOLUTION or "revulsion" if it's impacted your lifelihood.

"The Great A&P..." by Marc Levinson is certainly not a book favorable to the company but does make some interesting points.

The A&P that many of us knew as kids was a TREND SETTER and GROUND BREAKER and was hated for it. In the 1860s, it was the innovator of chain business, supermarkets, and sensationally oriented public relations fiction. AND FOR IT'S PROGRESSIVE OUTLOOK, IT WAS HATED BY EVERY MOM AND POP BUSINESS IN AMERICA and there were a slew of them.

There were evidently even in a handicapped communication system, so much unrest and anger that FDR IN THE 1940s (note 60 years later) used his influence in Anti-trust law to try to bring the company down. It took all told over 100 years plus union pressure to finish the job hatred started but it's interesting that BIG BUSINESS was UNDER ATTACK even in the early days. Unfortunately ALTHOUGH GEORGE HARTFORD had a knack with advertising, he did not have BILL GATES' "rock and roll" knack for moving unfavorable publicity to the the GOOD LANE.

Of course, Bill Gates experienced a similar phenomenom with his INNOVATIVE and world changing company, MICROSOFT. Instead of thanking him, the public turned against him and villified his BIG BUSINESS.
LUCKILY HE HAD SOME FRIENDS LIKE WARREN BUFFET, A GENIUS IN HIS OWN RIGHT, TO TURN THE PUBLIC TIRADE TO PUBLIC PRAISE FOR GATES' CHARITY DONATIONS.

Why are these men held up as DESTROYERS OF SOCIETY rather than BRILLIANT AND OUTSTANDING MEN SHOWING THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IN A CHANGING SOCIETY????????? SCAPEGOATS????????? We need somebody to blame for the unfairness of life.

Well, in the 1860's most of the country's (AND THE WORLD's-although we weren't as involved)commerce was in the form of very small businesses, called Mom and Pop's, because that's the way food and goods had to be distributed since we were still in the horse and buggy stage.

Interstate commerce FOR PERISHABLE GOODS was a thing of the future and when A&P, that dastardly INNOVATOR, took to expanding into MULTIPLE areas, adding foods, other than tea and coffee plus CUTTING PRICE TO THE BONE, the screams of pain from small retailers were loud and clear. In spite of or because of the clamor, A&P ULTIMATELY BECAME THE LARGEST LONG LASTING FOOD RETAILER. NEVER MIND THE GREATER CONVENIENCE, BETTER PRICE, AND FRESHER GOODS and buying public support !!!!!!!!! THIS WAS CHANGE OF THE RANKEST PROPORTIONS!!!!!!!!

Or so it was said. Now it's the FUTURE of WALMART Stores!!!!!!!

SO NOW LOOK BACK AT 1960, a fermenting, fomenting, loud and brassy struggle on the streets of the world by young people. WHY???????? CHANGE WAS AGAIN IN THE WIND. Computers had made their debut but only a few could make them work because they ran on manual systems in a language unknown to the common man. The economy was struggling even as space research was heading toward its peak. BUT MOST PEOPLE unlike the young were pretty satisfied with what Atlantic and Pacific's world had delivered.

LO AND BEHOLD, suddenly the populace LEARNED OF a system to work those FOREIGN LANGUAGE computers. Something called a SOFTWARE AND NAMED MICROSOFT by a company of the same name. Articles begain to appear about this GENIUS, Bill GATES, who DROVE THE MICROSOFT TRUCK.

IN THE BEGINNING THE PRAISE WAS LOUD AND LONG and the word NERD was banished from conversation. UNTIL......UNTIL ONE DAY THE WORLD BEGAN TO CHANGE visibly and folks got uncomfortable AS THE IDEA OF A TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION BEGAN TO TAKE HOLD.

Suddenly, just as A&P began the changes that made the United States more accessible and familiar; Microsoft made the World more
accessible and familiar. BUSINESS AS WE KNEW IT CHANGED TO A PATTERN UNFAMILIAR AND SMALL BUSINESSES WERE DESTROYED BY AN ECONOMY THAT NOW RELIED ON SPEED AND FOREIGN TRADE. ALL these were ACCESSIBLE IN GREATER DEGREE BY THE CHANGES WROUGHT BY THE COMPUTER.

UH OH!!!!!!!!!!! Who's the culprit we can blame for our new discomfort and A WORLD GONE MAD?????????? WHO ELSE BUT GOOD OLD GENIUS BILL GATES????????? AND BIG BUSINESS WHICH IS WHAT MICROSOFT BECAME. Except BILL didn't stand still and let the public BEAT HIM WITH HIS GENIUS. THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!

The downturn in the economy caused by TERRIBLE FINANCIAL DECISIONS by BOTH LENDER AND BORROWER could not have happened without the computer to CREATE A SET OF PERAMETERS THAT SEEMED TO WORK BUT DIDN'T. BUT WAS THAT THE ONLY FACTOR IN THE RECENT DOWNTURN???????????

IT WAS NOT!!!!!!!!! When a country or a world is in the midst of another ECONOMIC CHANGE, like the shift in the late 1800s from farm to INDUSTRY, it happens in a uneven and uncomfortable pattern. MEN AND WOMEN who WERE TRAINED for farm work NOT ASSEMBLY LINES. Many did NOT or could not ADJUST, WERE OUT OF WORK, AND BECAME THE VICTIMS OF A NEW POVERTY and the VILLAIN???????? GOOD OLE A&P, WHO SHOWED THE WAY TO CHANGE!!!!!!!!!

THE SHIFT IN THE LATE 1960S TOWARD TECHNOLOGY BECAME ANOTHER UNCOMFORTABLE time and unfortunately those who still do not recognise the power and future of TECHNOLOGY as the LEADING EMPLOYER AND BECOME RETRAINED will suffer the same agonies that the farm workers suffered.

YES, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN INDEPENDENT WORKING MINORITY, thank goodness, for various fields that simply can't be PROGRAMMED, OR TECHNOLOGICALLY HANDLED AND IF YOU ARE FORWARD LOOKING THERE'S A NEW JOB OUT THERE FOR YOU.

But if you were to ask this blogger today to name those fields, she would be hard pressed to do so. There seem to be some obvious ones like HEALTH, CONSTRUCTION, TRANSPORT OF GOODS, SUPERMARKETS AND SO FORTH.........BUT...........would you have thought that OUR CARS, SO LONG BELOVED AND PART OF THE ASSEMBLY LINE ECONOMY, would become a victim of technology. BUT THEY MOST CERTAINLY HAVE DONE SO AS WE DISCUSS THE ELECTRIC and/or FOSSIL FUELS OF THE FUTURE.

OKAY, SO THE ROUGH ECONOMIC TIMES ARE NOT SO SIMPLY BASED on one factor AS we WOULD LOVE TO BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!! And they won't be resolved either quickly or easily. THE BEST HOPE IS TO STAY SOLVENT, PULL IN YOUR HORNS, KEEP SHELTERED, AND HOPE THE STORM PASSES INTO THE SECOND PHASE MORE QUICKLY THAN IN THE 1800S BECAUSE TECHNOLOGY moves more quickly.

TECHNOLOGY ITSELF IS TRYING TO MAKE CHANGE MORE PAINLESS than it was in 1860 by making technological education available free. BUT YOU HAVE TO GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO ENROLL AND DO THE WORK!!!!!!

FOR THE UNLUCKY FOLKS UNABLE TO STAY SOLVENT, DO THE NEXT, BEST, POSITIVE THING. GET RETRAINED FOR SOMETHING TECHNOLOGICAL. You can take free courses on the net. I don't expect to need it but I'm studying computer language such as how strings of information are put into PYTHON, a computer language.

I ENROLLED in a college called Udacity.com on the web AND THERE ARE MANY OTHER good FREE OUTLETS FOR TECHNOLOGY TRAINING BOTH OUTSIDE AND INSIDE COLLEGE CURRICULUMS on the Internet!!!! Explore them and take a shot at becoming COMPUTER LITERATE!!!!!!! I frankly despair of ever learning the new language but I shall prevail. THERE ARE COMPUTERS IN ALL THE LIBRARIES THAT CAN BE USED IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE. Libraries in recent years have been sitting on the leading edge of change toward a time when storage of books will be an anachronism.

It's only a heartbeat way from the time after World War II (that was the mid 1940s) that home telephones were being demanded and rationed.
TODAY most citizens LINKED TOGETHER BY TECHNOLOGY think of that as THE DARK AGES; a lifetime ago in light of technology's advances and the expectation that things will always be BETTER, more ADVANCED, and more PROTECTIVE with a PHONE IN EVERY POCKET.

Change, we have been indoctrinated,is good!!!!!!!!! It can be. It can be great! Technology has opened this blogger's world. It can also become a forecaster for a future that is clouded by the demands and unswerving belief in PROTECTIONISM.

What exactly is this blogger's definition of PROTECTIONISM??????? It's EXPANDING THE MEANING from just high tariffs or protecting some businesses from foreign competition TO THE CURRENT NOTION OF TOTAL PROTECTIONISM FOR COUNTRY AND CITIZENS.Citing a few examples will help explain this and the economic cost will just be a given.

PROTECTIONISM means the right we feel we have to be protected from anything and everything that might harm us at whatever cost!!!!!!!!!! Silly as that may sound it's the current belief AND THE COST is in PERSONAL FREEDOM AS WELL AS DOLLARS. THE LOSS IS ENORMOUS.

We all know the tale of the AIRPORTS AND AIRPLANES after SEPTEMBER 11 and although even their own security FORCES admit it is inadequate PROTECTION, WE SUBJUGATE OURSELVES TO WHAT AMOUNTS TO STRIP SEARCHING FOR PROTECTIONISM.

LOOK UP AT THE SKY!!!!!! Do you see them?????????No!!!!!!!!NO WONDER BECAUSE THE DRONES FLYING OVER YOUR LAND ARE FAR TOO SMALL. BUT NOT TOO SMALL TO PINPOINT YOUR WHEREABOUTS OR ACTIONS!!!!!!! DRONES are not just part of your present life but a HUGE PART OF YOUR FUTURE and most Americans aren't really aware of what a PERVASIVE EFFECT they will have on their lives!!!!!!!! NOW WILL THE GOVERNMENT DO THE SENSIBLE THING AND USE THE OTHER TYPES OF SECURE METHODS LIKE A SECURE PHONE??????????OF COURSE NOT!!!!!!!!!! IT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO PROTECTIONISM AND REDUCE CITIZEN USE OF THE WEB with more annoying and SECURITY LADEN RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

For instance, we heard that the FBI is taking down certain servers that route messages across the internet this Monday to prevent the spread of a DNS redirect worm. This PROTECTIONISM HOPES TO STOP THE WORM FROM REDIRECTING MESSAGES FROM AMERICA TO FRIENDLIES
INTO THE HANDS OF UNFRIENDLIES.

COST TO US????????INTERFERENCE IN THE WEB MEANS THE DOOR IS OPEN TO MORE INTERFERENCE. AFTER ALL, just YOUR OPINION MAY SOMEDAY BE CONSIDERED UNWORTHY BECAUSE IT IS UNFRIENDLY.

What about church and state. Since Government has begun its war against religion and God in particular, there is a current move to make PROTECTIONISM work for the Church. For Pete's sake there are organizations called the "Secular Coalition for America" fighting for secular rights and "Citizens for Religious Freedom and Non-discrimination" to fight out the "Religious Freedom Amendment" in Florida. One side says it's for freedom, one sides says it's not, but both sides are seeking PROTECTIONISM again which means it could become a fight FOR GOOD THAT GOES BAD.

REMEMBER THE MORTGAGE CRISIS??????? The cause of the present dowturn of the economy WORLD-WIDE. Yes, most euro-countries were practicing the SOCIALIST THEORY of housing JUST LIKE IN AMERICA. When BAD FINANCIAL THINKING CAUSED A BUST -- WHAT DO YOU SUPPOSE WE LEARNED FROM IT???????????? THAT'S RIGHT -- CREATE MORE PROTECTIONISM!!!!!!!! So we made the BANKS THE FALL GUYS (YES, THEY WERE CULPABLE TO A DEGREE) BUT THE GOVERNMENT PUSHED THEM TO ACCEPT FREDDIE MAE AND FANNIE MAC (remember THOSE PROSTITUTES????? THEY STILL HAVE A WAITING LINE). BANKS ALLOWED GOVERNMENT TO CONTROL THEIR EFFORTS FOR --YOU GUESSED IT--PROTECTIONISM.

So what came out of the debacle? BESIDES HOMELESSNESS, JOBLESSNESS OR GENERAL DECLINE???????? ANY HELP FOR THOSE WEARY WAGE EARNERS??????? YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!!! PROTECTIONISM IN THE FORM OF WHAT THEY CALL BANK LIVING WILLS!!!!!!!Yeah, you heard right. The GOVERNMENT has seen the greater usefulness of PROTECTIONISM and forced banks to sign away their rights DURING another CATASTROPHE that "threatens the broader financial system". It includes how they could be broken up and sold off when in danger of failing. It's called PROTECTIONISM FOLKS!!!! It' supposedly for OUR PROTECTION!!!!!!!

THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A DAMN MINUTE. What has been one of the leading tracts of COMMUNISM FROM THE BEGINNING BESIDES HEALTH, EDUCATION, AND WELFARE??????????? NATIONALIZING THE BANKS, BOOBY. NATIONALIZING THE BANKS!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DOES THE LIVING WILL PREDICT?????????

Well, now (duh--since this blogger is considered by the enlightened to be unenlightened--it takes a minute) LET'S SEE!!!!!!!!!!

THE SOCIALISTS DIRECTING OUR GOVERNMENT through our own systems HELPED CREATE FANNIE MAE AND FREDDIE MAC TO ACQUIRE HOMES FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTED ONE!!!!!!!!! PROTECTIONISM!!!!!!!!! BAD MORTGAGES PRECIPITATED THE MORTGAGE CRISIS - AND OVERLOADED BANKS WITH DEBT THAT CAUSED THEM TO COME CLOSE TO FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!

THE SAME GOVERNMENT THEN SAVED THE BANKS FROM COLLAPSING because the public and our laws were not ready for NATIONALIZING BANKS. BUT THE GOVERNMENT DID NATIONALIZE A HELPLESS AND HAPLESS AUTOMOBILE COMPANY--JUST TO BE SURE THE FOLKS IN THE BANKS REALIZED THEY COULD, AND THE GOVERNMENT CALLED IT PROTECTIONISM.

SO now PROTECTIONISM HAS COME FULL CIRCLE WITH A "LIVING WILL FOR BANKS". NOW when the TIME IS RIGHT, IT WILL BE "DUCK SOUP" NOT REVOLUTION THAT SEES THE BANKS BECOME GOVERNMENT PROPERTY BY NATIONALIZATION!!!!!!!!!!!

PROTECTIONISM IS BASED ON THE "GOODNESS" AND WILLINGNESS OF HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS FOR THE GOOD OF ALL. NOT THE "BADNESS" OF ALL BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT OFTEN COMES OUT THAT WAY!!!!!!!!

AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST WE HAVE... "TA DA"... THE Health Care Bill, the most EXPENSIVE, EXTENSIVE, EXPANSIVE PROTECTIONISM of all !!!!!!!!!!!! A profound example MUCH LIKE THE MORTGAGE DEBACLE OF PROTECTIONISM. Carried to its full extreme and with the cost escalating continually, it is SEEMINGLY ON ITS WAY TO A SIMILAR FATE OF bankruptcy WHICH I AM SURE THE SOCIALISTS PLAN TO BLAME ON DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS AND THE INSURANCE COMPANIES IN A BID TO MAKE THEM GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED but certainly not their precious "intellectual" schemes for "GOOD"!!!!!!!!!!!!

With Europe's financial system tanking under the Euro, the popular Socialist theme is that it was the leadership of the banks, who were at fault, not the Socialist's faulty economic plan.

Wonder why Health care law is having such an easy time??????LOOK TO BIG BUSINESS!!!!!!!! WHY??????? IT IS SEEKING RELIEF FROM THE PROTECTIONISM OF HEALTH CARE COST WITH-----YOU GUESSED IT-------PROTECTIONISM BY A GOVERNMENT health care bill. THEY BELIEVE IN HIRING OUR CITIZENS, THEY SIMPLY DON'T WANT TO CONTINUE TO REDUCE THEIR PROFIT MARGINS with the current government demanded health or labor demands or other PROTECTED measures. LIKE IT OR NOT THAT'S THE REALITY. The countries to which they outsource work don't sponsor much in the way of PROTECTIONISM.

ALL CHOICES ARE A TWO WAY STREET and that's why they're often so contested and difficult to make. IF WE CHOOSE PROTECTIONISM AS A WAY OF LIFE AS WE APPEAR TO BE DOING can TYRANNY LAG FAR BEHIND?????????

PROTECTION REQUIRES "BIG BROTHER" AND "BIG SISTER" TO BE AT OUR BECK AND CALL. THE PRICE HAS TO BE PAID. THE RESPONSIBILITY HAS TO BE TAKEN BY AUTHORITY. PROTECTIONISM CARRIES A PRICE MOSTLY UNRECOGNIZED BY THOSE DEMANDING THAT PROTECTION. Some PROTECTION is always necessary but CARRIED TO EXTREMES AS IN OUR MODERN SOCIETY, IT OVERWHELMS THE GOOD AND LEAVES THE BAD.

So, the next time you have to make a choice AT THE POLLS WHEN VOTING OR in your personal life when choosing alternatives, think hard and long and if you CHOOSE PROTECTIONISM, THE PRICE IS YOURS TO PAY!!!!!!!!!!!
