Representative Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) TOLD us there are only MINOR?????? changes in the Federal Restrict Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011(S.1794) with bill HR347 and he dismissed concerns saying that tests over the changes are "a whole lot of kerfuffle over nothing".
KERFUFFLE--WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO SAY FUSS OR RUDER WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
However much this blogger may enjoy the language, the logic escapes your correspondent because as Congress continues to make minor adjustments to "THIS N'THAT" bill, it causes more and more concern as these seemingly harmless and protective measures continue to erode America's Constitution AND FREEDOMS.
This blogger doesn't fancy having intruders invade the President's bedroom. God forbid a young man in his prime should have to defend his wife. However, this blogger seems to recall that the White House USED TO BELONG TO THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY. AND IT IS NOW OFF LIMITS TO THEM FOR ALL PRACTICAL PURPOSES OTHER THAN GUIDED TOURS. Okay it was a necessity caused by DERANGED NUTS but there have always been DERANGED NUTS.

HOW POOR IS POOR? HOW RICH IS RICH?post 103
Hi,
Although Google Blog is making my blogger life difficult, I will attempt to publish this week. The problem is I don't like to be coerced into accepting a new browser by them. Changing my browser which is filled with mucho stuff would be like moving my house-not easy.
I received an email that had Neal Boortz' now famous commencement address that had a quote that caught my eye which dealt with this POOR/RICH RATIO we hear so much about. Boortz said this: ......."Speaking of the poor, during your adult life you are going to hear an endless string of politicians bemoaning the plight of the poor. So, you need to know that under our government's definition of "poor" you can have a $5 million net worth, a $300,000. home and a new $90,000 Mercedes, all completely paid for. You can also have a maid, cook, and valet, and a million in your checking account, and you can still be officially defined by our government as 'living in poverty'....." .....
"The Government's own statistics show people who are said to be 'living in poverty' spend more than $l.50 for each dollar of income they claim".......... AND THAT'S NOT BECAUSE THEY PUT IT ON THEIR VISA CARD!!!!!!!!!!!PLUS WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT--THEY HAVE NO JOB AND LITTLE KNOWN INCOME.
As Boortz points out how are the politicians going to get more money for social welfare and the power that goes with that increase without convincing the public of the need. And if counting the income of Social Security recipients and wealthy cash bearing citizens increases the statistics, WELL, WHAT THE HEY, THEY GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Boortz coins a phrase that I wish I'd thought of: "OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE COMPASSION DISORDER" to describe the compassion rush of guilt that Americans suffer from and rush to cure by allowing new social welfare programs, that though harmful to the recipient, bring immense relief to the compassionate giver!!!!!!! Don't you love it?????????
He also had a number of suggestions for the students but several really caught my eye:... "Liars cannot be trusted, even when the liar is the President of the country......" YES, YES, YES TO THAT ADVICE!!!!!!!!! and "speaking of earning, the revered 40-hour work week is for losers.......you don't see highly successful people clocking out of the office every afternoon at five.........." YES INDEEDY NO!!!!!!!!!! And finally...."Free speech is meant to protect UNPOPULAR speech. Popular speech, by definition, needs no protection.".......AND THAT ONE IS SOMETHING MOST OF US COULD STAND TO REMEMBER!!!!!!!!
The most interesting part of this idea is the statistics on the poor. Realizing that statistics is a big part of economics, it is alarming to see the negatives of television's favorite type of reporting. The twist and turns and faulty information now used to form many statistics make it difficult to believe any of them.
The above instance of calculating income levels in a community was recently reported in a Florida paper for Martin County AND produced by a HIRED GUN to prove increased housing of some 10,000 HOMES was needed to produce jobs and a rise in the economy. He proved that one of the RICHEST areas in the nation was actually the POOREST!!!!!!!
Why Poor? It's those POOR OLD RETIRED RICH PEOPLE AGAIN PAYING CASH INSTEAD OF INCREASING THE DEBT AND USING THEIR MILLION DOLLAR BANK ACCOUNTS WITH NO job or "KNOWN INCOME"!!!!!!!!! POOR DOOBIES.
Statistics was a great invention for math and economics. You could boil everything down to an acceptable swallow for most folks and give them lots of knowledge with a few figures and maybe a graph or two. Economists probably should have realized that anything so simple just BEGGED FOR NEGATIVE TAMPERING AND BY GOLLY NO DECENT POLITICIAN WITH SPURIOUS INTENT COULD IGNORE THAT CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!
If political candidates don't sway the polls, obviously they are now thought to be doing a bad job of running for office.
This blogger used to tell the kids that lying was a terrible thing because when the TRUTH BECOMES SO BECLOUDED, ONE CAN'T SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES. ONE CAN'T BE BE SURE THE SUPPOSED TABLE YOU'RE ABOUT TO LEAN UPON IS ACTUALLY REAL. THE LIES PUT you in a MESS of trouble. GUESS WHAT !!!!!!!!! OUR NATION IS IN A MESS OF TROUBLE CAUSED BY LYING POLITICIANS. TRUTH IS OUT THERE BUT IT'S NO LONGER EASY TO FIND. It is TOUGH to hunt down. This blogger advises you to ignore most statisticS, damn statistics, and seemingly harmless statistics. Too often THE STATISTICIAN IS A HIRED GUN LOOKING FOR YOUR VITALS OR TO SELL YOU A PIECE OF REAL ESTATE OUT IN THE OCEAN!!!!!!!! FICTION, MY FRIENDS, PURE FICTION.
Sorry, but until we stop believing in the fantasy, it will continue to grow. And a big hand of applause to Neal Boortz, a Texan who tells it like it is. He further advised the college graduates:... "You need to register to vote,unless you are on welfare. If you are living off the efforts of others please do us the favor of sitting down and shutting up until you are on your own again....."When you do vote, your votes for the House and the Senate are more important than your vote for President. The House controls the purse strings, so concentrate your awareness there.".......
And remember it's a vote AGAINST SOCIALISM AND LOSS OF YOUR FREEDOM that counts.

This blogger received a 50-60s NOSTALGIC? email today and one photo in particular DEMANDED attention and SLAMMED HOME THE THOUGHT ABOUT WHY WOMEN FOUGHT SO HARD for Women's Liberation in those "GOOD OLD DAYS????????????". The men of THE 50-60s may certainly see the photos as nostalgic but perhaps this blogger should remind women of what they didn't have!!!!!!!!
The article entitled "The Good Wife's Guide", 1955, lays out each point beginning with: Hustle up a good meal-he's hungry; put make-up and a ribbon in hair; be a little more interesting-he's pooped (of course you're not!);be interesting for HIM, he's had a boring day (YOUR DAY WAS SO SCINTILLATING!!!!!!!); Check the house so it's neat and clean and in cool weather build a fire for HIM!!!!!; prepare the kids (OH GOSH, THE AUTHOR FORGOT THE WIFE HAD THOSE TO LOOK AFTER??????????)so they won't annoy him and turn off ALL "OTHER" NOISE MAKING MACHINES!!!!!!!!!!

The young women today believe it has always been like this for females. YEAH SURE!!!!!!!!!! Women got the vote IN 1920. You HEARD THAT RIGHT.Not that long ago. It was during those Helicon days of lists for women that the Washington ADMINISTRATION AND CONGRESS FIRST GOT TO MESSING AROUND WITH WOMEN AND THEIR BODIES. BY LAW, THAT IS!!!!!!! They decided that most men (WHO WERE IN CONTROL AS PER THE ABOVE STATED RULES) were not sufficiently moral enough to make women have the babies they created with them and allowed their women to have abortions. The upshot, of course, is easy to predict. The legislation condemning abortion and making it a crime put some clean, non risk abortion clinics out of business (ALTHOUGH NOT ACKNOWLEDGED-THEY EXISTED.) This MADE WAY FOR a dirty, germ ridden scenario with no antiseptics to spring up like a black market for abortion. Abortions continued IN WIERD RUN-DOWN CORNER STORES AND TAR PAPER SHACKS WITH CONTAMINATED TOOLS (IF ANY) AT HIGH PRICES AND DISGUSTING CONDITIONS. THIS WAS DURING THE TIME MEN WERE 'MASTER OF THE HOUSE' There was no real provision to care for the needs of poor, DESERTED women.
OKAY, we move forward to Roe v Wade, the litigation women sought to free doctors to produce sanitary conditions for abortion. NOW HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!WHETHER YOU APPROVE OR DON'T APPROVE OF ABORTION IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE!!!!!!!!!!! In the time of Roe v Wade there was not real consistent PROTECTION against pregnancy and women who got caught out, would seek an abortion. KEEP YOUR MORALS TO YOURSELF UNTIL this blogger FINISHES!!!!!!!!!! Most of these women had not made the strides economically they now possess; they were abandoned (BY THOSE LORD AND MASTERS)and often lived under stern conditions, ostracised from family. There were a lot of other reasons as well if YOU MUST SET YOURSELF UP AS JUDGE AND JURY!!!!!!!!!!
Not content to leave ALONE THIS ISSUE, IT BECAME A NATIONAL POLITICAL FOOTBALL WITH WOMEN AGAIN BEING KICKED AROUND IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. The whole idea of women's problems and needs being decided by anyone other themselves with their doctor's help is anathema that this BLOGGER thought was resolved by a NEW RESPECT, DEFINITION, and CONFIRMATION OF WOMEN as FIRST CLASS CITIZENS during the fight for Women's Rights. Women are not second or third class citizens to TO BE DEFINED BY A MASTER (whether that master be an organized body of men or one man). Shouldn't this generation of women be seeking the continuation, affirmation, and extension of WOMEN'S RIGHTS STARTED BY THE RIGHT TO VOTE IN 1920.

It was during those Helicon days of lists for women that the Washington ADMINISTRATION AND CONGRESS FIRST GOT TO MESSING AROUND WITH WOMEN AND THEIR BODIES. BY LAW, THAT IS!!!!!!! They decided that most men (WHO WERE IN CONTROL AS PER THE ABOVE STATED RULES) were not sufficiently moral enough to make women have the babies they created with them and allowed their women to have abortions. The upshot, of course, is easy to predict. The legislation condemning abortion and making it a crime put some clean, non risk abortion clinics out of business (ALTHOUGH NOT ACKNOWLEDGED-THEY EXISTED.) This MADE WAY FOR a dirty, germ ridden scenario with no antiseptics to spring up like a black market for abortion. Abortions continued IN WIERD RUN-DOWN CORNER STORES AND TAR PAPER SHACKS WITH CONTAMINATED TOOLS (IF ANY) AT HIGH PRICES AND DISGUSTING CONDITIONS. THIS WAS DURING THE TIME MEN WERE 'MASTER OF THE HOUSE' There was no real provision to care for the needs of poor, DESERTED women.
OKAY, we move forward to Roe v Wade, the litigation women sought to free doctors to produce sanitary conditions for abortion. NOW HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!WHETHER YOU APPROVE OR DON'T APPROVE OF ABORTION IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE!!!!!!!!!!! In the time of Roe v Wade there was not real consistent PROTECTION against pregnancy and women who got caught out, would seek an abortion. Most of these women had not made the strides economically they now possess; they were abandoned (BY THOSE LORD AND MASTERS)and often lived under stern conditions, ostracised from family. This reporter really should address this topic because it is an economics issue. Have you noticed as the clock ticks away on the Obamacare bill that the press and the media are full of the kinds of tests that CITIZENS DO NOT NEED?????????
It is truly amazing THAT MANY TESTS FOR DIFFERENT ILLNESSES have suddenly BECOME UNNECESSARY since the new HEALTH CARE BILL STARTS TO LOOM OVER OUR HEADS!!!!!!!!! This blogger had no idea that the medical profession by using A PROGRAM OF PREVENTATIVE TESTING WERE BEING SO WASTEFUL in KEEPING US ALIVE AND OFTEN WELL INTO OUR ONE-HUNDREDS!!!!!!!!!! Rather, it seemed a MOST SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM OF WELLNESS.

I have no doubt that there has been a tendency to do more than ordinary testing when suspicious health problems exist. After all DOCTORS ARE NOT PRESCIENT AND CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH BY PATIENT SYMPTOMS which may in many cases be less than accurate. Testing has provided that extra insurance for doctors and patients, who do not readily display the classic symptoms for a given illness. Unfortunately patients'(or plaintiff) lawyers have helped finance the Administration's move to squash extra testing since it also provides patients with proof of illness and doctor's with proof for treatment.
And when the press or media cite some doctors, who ally themselves to the current administration's advice "THAT LESS IS MORE", THIS BLOGGER SUGGESTS you write down their names and SEE IF THEY BECOME HEADS OF "THIS 'N THAT" under OBAMACARE IF IT INDEED BECOMES A REALITY!!!!!!!!!! ISN'T THAT HOW A **********STAR**********IS BORN???????????
