After SIXTY years of warnings the press has finally gotten the message!!!!!!!!!!WE ARE IN A TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION AND JOBS ARE BEING LOST IN AMERICA.
This blogger guesses the Press caught on when their newspapers began to disappear into the web and TV found itself competing with the web. AND IT'S JUST GOTTEN A GOOD START, FOLKS, AND FAR FROM OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But you knew that!!!!!!!!!!YOU READ ONE OF MY EARLY BLOGS WHEN this blogger DISCUSSED THE IMPACT OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION.
The recession caused by the HOME MORTGAGE MARKET BUST was not the MAIN factor of joblessness in our country. THE TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION was and is the main source of JEOPARDY and THE LOST jobs will no longer BE EXISTANT. Unfortunately, many of these jobs in the SERVICE INDUSTRY CAME INTO BEING AFTER THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION AND NOW ARE BEING DESTROYED BY NEW TECHNOLOGY.
Has there been any concerted effort on the part of our PROTECTIVE AND CONTROLLING GOVERNMENT FORCES TO RESTRUCTURE OUR WORK FORCE??????????. DAMNED LITTLE nor has the RETRAINING TAKEN PLACE THAT IS NECESSARY TO REEMPLOY ALL THESE UNEMPLOYED CITIZENS FOUND A VOICE IN GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, a lot of the SOFTWARE technology being developed has become more efficient than people in the last ten years or more, COMPUTERS HAVE RISEN TO THE FOREFRONT OF EMPLOYMENT SO THAT "SCI- FI" HAS BECOME A REALITY. THE MACHINES NOW RUN US!!!!!!!!!!!! AND WE AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET!!!!!!!!!!!
Job categories that have been stable and effective SINCE THE LAST MAJOR DEPRESSION (THE 1930S) including, major employment areas in offices and on business staffs in all parts of the economy are being replaced by machines and software. We now have creative robots that do tons of jobs (NOT JUST MANUFACTURING) not really considered robot material in the past. All those wonderful I-PHONES AND TABLET PORTABLE COMPUTERS are chaniging the necessity of business locations and will eventually change the topography of the country as more people WORK FROM WHEREVER. WE BECOME TEMPORARY ROBOTS.
Labor economists say that in the United States 7.5 million of the jobs that were lost in the recent depression were jobs paying $40,000 to $68,000.. TWO PERCENTof the 3.5 million new jobs since 2009 are MIDDLE pay. Nearly seventy percent LOW PAY with 29 percent WELL PAYING with many of those due to RETRAINING-WHICH MAY NOT BE PERMANENT.. Experts are predicting that the workforce will continue to be eroded by a loss of millions more jobs to technology and machines as the SOFTWARE becomes even more sophisticated. Economists in EUROPE predict a dire future, where jobs have been as hard hit as in America for mid-pay jobs EVEN THOUGH THE COMMUNISTS' HAVE TIGHTLY CONTROLLED JOB EDUCATION AND JOB SELECTION. EUROPE'S loss of jobs hit 7.6 million from 2008 into 2012 and they predict it COULD DOUBLE THAT FIGURE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
The jobs that have been on leading edge of technology and benefitted from this surge have been the software engineers and app creators but they may even lose to their own machines as technology eliminates even sophisticated thinkers. THIS IS THE MAIN PROBLEM THAT IS CAUSING RECESSION, DEPRESSION, AND THE ECONOMY BUST. IT IS THE MORE SOPHISTICATED BROTHER TO THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION WITH LESS RESTRAINTS AND GREATER INVASION INTO OUR LIVES WHILE OUR SOPORIFIC APPROACH TO IT IS NOTHING SHORT OF SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS NOT A NEW PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOWEVER, PEOPLE APPEAR TO ADJUST INCREDIBLY SLOWLY TO DOOMSDAY PREDICTIONS AND ESPECIALLY DOOMSDAY MACHINE PREDICTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For almost sixty years manufacturing jobs have disappeared replaced by robots and machinery run by software. THIS BLOGGER HATES TO TELL YOU THIS, FRIENDS, BUT THOSE MACHINES MAKE FEWER MISTAKES AND IT'S THAT EFFICIENCY THAT IS GOBBLING UP THE SERVICE INDUSTRY THAT EMPLOYS 2/3 OF THE WORKERS IN MOST DEVELOPED COUNTRIES LIKE OURS. That means the offices and retail plus all business we use every day.
Technology is now popular with all employers including schools and all medical facilities. Even nonprofits use it and of course, the military and government. REPETITIVE TASKS LIKE BOOKKEEPING, FILING, PARALEGALS, PUBLISHING, ALL CREATIVE REPETITION, PLUS JOBS LIKE GROCERY CHECKERS, AND SO FORTH ARE SPOT IN THE FIRING LINE OF TECHNOLOGY ALONG WITH OTHER OBVIOUS REPETITIVE TASKS THAT CAN BE TECHNOLOGICALLY SCOOPED UP. EVEN SOME JOBS THAT WE CONSIDER TOO SOPHISTICATED LIKE DRUGGISTS CAN FALL TO THE TECH BOOM.

Evidentally he stated that whether you agree with GUN CONTROL or not, the REASON THE SECOND AMENDMENT EXISTS IS TO ARM THE POPULATION IN ORDER TO OVERTHROW A TYHRANNICAL GOVERNMENT. That's it. TO RADAR. It is interesting how many beliefs, habits, foibles etc. are hidden with a national character!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about our AMERICAN NATIONAL CHARACTER and what lurks within.???????????
The issue of guns is certainly part of that national attitude. Americans as late as the early l950s grew up with guns in their homes. They were considered an essential element for protection, hunting, and various amusements. It was not uncommon to see them lying about a home in various stages of loaded or unloaded and any child who picked one up without permission wound up under the bed after a severe whomping. It was necessary to have protection in most parts of the country in those days because there was not a protective infastructure. Hunting was a beloved sport inherited from the early settlers and England and France's influence.
IN OTHER WORDS--THEY WERE COMMON--NO BIG DEAL AND FOLKS WERE TAUGHT TO CLEAN THEIR GUNS, UNLOAD THEM TO AVOID ACCIDENT, AND TO BE TRAINED FULLY BEFORE DISCHARGING THEM (THIS DID NOT ALWAYS HAPPEN) and generally regard them as part of their world.
This blogger recalls a story my Dad told about picking up a gun from their kitchen table at breakfast and shooting it out the open window without permission. It narrowly missed his younger brother's ear as the bullet flew by. My English grandfather, who was a sturdy man, grabbed the gun, strode outside and broke it to peices WITH HIS BARE HANDS. TODAY GRANDPA MIGHT WELL BE THREATENED WITH JAIL AND LOSE CUSTODY OF HIS KIDS!!!!!!!! Needless to say, my Dad after witnessing that destruction, took off for the woods where he resided until he felt it was safe to come home. THIS BLOGGER HAD A COLORFUL FAMILY-
Can you imagine that in the average home today???????????????? NONETHELESS, GUNS ARE PART OF OUR RECENT HISTORY and ALTHOUGH NOT NOW A BREAKFAST TABLE ORNAMENT, are still part of our national consciousness. Try taking the weather away from the English as a conversational topic and find yourself facing a personal deep freeze. TAKE THE RIGHT OF AMERICANS TO HAVE GUNS AND THE GOVERNMENT MAY FACE MORE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES THAN ANYONE NOW BELIEVES AMERICANS CAPABLE OF ACTING UPON!!!!!!!!!! "TRY TO BE A LITTLE KINDER" POST 139
Hi,
To begin 2013, this blogger feels the need to quote Aldous Huxley: "It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one's life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than 'try to be a litle kinder.'"
And that expresses this blogger's feelings exactly. What can anyone offer as you watch the same mistakes made over and over but EVEN by different people??????????? Is it like a disease??????? Can we develop a shot for it like the flu?????????? Guess not or our mighty scienterific scientists would surely be hawking it!!!!!!!!!!
So TRY TO BE A LITTLE KINDER!!!!!!!!!!!! That said the Republican House of Representatives folded under pressure after the first battle of our Congressional Civil War. Frankly, this blogger sees THAT HYPED UP CLIFF in spite of all the media STATIC was just a skirmish. THE BIG WAR IS STILL AHEAD AND THE HOUSE NEEDS TO REMEMBER THE ELECTION IN 2010 INSTRUCTED THE NEW MEMBERS OF THEIR MISSION. FIGHT FOR THE HALF OF AMERICA THAT DID NOT AGREE WITH THE OTHER HALF'S MISSION TO INSTILL SOCIALISM AS THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT.
THERE ARE TWO SIDES HERE, FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!!!WHETHER OF NOT THE PRESS TELLS YOU SO. THE MARGIN AT ELECTION WAS DAMNED SLIM SO WE AGAIN HAVE A COUNTRY SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE. OUR CONGRESS IS SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE AND REPRESENTS THOSE TWO SIDES, AGAIN WHETHER THE PRESS ADMITS IT OR NOT!!!!!!!!!!
THERE ARE TWO SIDES. AND WHEN THIS BLOGGER SAYS THE CONGRESS IS KEEPING THE STREETS FROM RUNNING WITH BLOOD, IT'S NO JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!! They have been entrusted by our Constitution TO FIGHT THE DAMN CIVIL WAR BETWEEN THE WARRING FACTORS IN THIS COUNTRY AND WE'VE ALWAYS HAD PLENTY OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE NOW ENTRUSTED WITH A CHANCE TO MAINTAIN OUR CONSTITUTION'S BELIEFS OR TAKE ON THE BELIEFS OF THE SOCIALIST'S WELFARE STATE. THAT'S THEIR JOB TO FIGHT BITTERLY!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems to this blogger THAT WHAT the House of Representatives NOW REQUIRES is a HOUSE MEMBER willing to court tbe current Senate's PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM AND "STEAL" A FEW MEMBERS OF THAT ASTUTE GROUP TO EVEN UP THE "PR" GOING TO THE MEDIA. YOU KNOW LIKE THE MEDIA STEALS TALENT FOR SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.

Maybe THE CIVIL WAR needs to reestablish a FREE PRESS that tells the TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE SPECTRUM!!!!!!!!!!! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT GROUP OF NEWS REPORTERS WHO LIVED BY A HIGHER STANDARD OF MORALITY????????????????????? ARE THEY ALL IN A GULAG SOMEWHERE????????? To begin 2013, this blogger feels the need to quote Aldous Huxley: "It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one's life and find at the end that one has no more to offer by way of advice than 'try to be a litle kinder.'"
And that expresses this blogger's feelings exactly. What can anyone offer as you watch the same mistakes made over and over but EVEN by different people??????????? Is it like a disease??????? Can we develop a shot for it like the flu?????????? Guess not or our mighty scienterific scientists would surely be hawking it!!!!!!!!!!
So TRY TO BE A LITTLE KINDER!!!!!!!!!!!! That said the Republican House of Representatives folded under pressure after the first battle of our Congressional Civil War. Frankly, this blogger sees THAT HYPED UP CLIFF in spite of all the media STATIC was just a skirmish. THE BIG WAR IS STILL AHEAD AND THE HOUSE NEEDS TO REMEMBER THE ELECTION IN 2010 INSTRUCTED THE NEW MEMBERS OF THEIR MISSION. FIGHT FOR THE HALF OF AMERICA THAT DID NOT AGREE WITH THE OTHER HALF'S MISSION TO INSTILL SOCIALISM AS THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT.
THERE ARE TWO SIDES HERE, FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!!!WHETHER OF NOT THE PRESS TELLS YOU SO. THE MARGIN AT ELECTION WAS DAMNED SLIM SO WE AGAIN HAVE A COUNTRY SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE. OUR CONGRESS IS SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE AND REPRESENTS THOSE TWO SIDES, AGAIN WHETHER THE PRESS ADMITS IT OR NOT!!!!!!!!!!

They have been entrusted by our Constitution TO FIGHT THE DAMN CIVIL WAR BETWEEN THE WARRING FACTORS IN THIS COUNTRY AND WE'VE ALWAYS HAD PLENTY OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE NOW ENTRUSTED WITH A CHANCE TO MAINTAIN OUR CONSTITUTION'S BELIEFS OR TAKE ON THE BELIEFS OF THE SOCIALIST'S WELFARE STATE. THAT'S THEIR JOB TO FIGHT BITTERLY!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems to this blogger THAT WHAT the House of Representatives NOW REQUIRES is a HOUSE MEMBER willing to court tbe current Senate's PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM AND "STEAL" A FEW MEMBERS OF THAT ASTUTE GROUP TO EVEN UP THE "PR" GOING TO THE MEDIA. YOU KNOW LIKE THE MEDIA STEALS TALENT FOR SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.
BECAUSE WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CONFERENCES appears LESS IMPORTANT TO THE VOTING THESE DAYS THEN THE TIME, PLACE, AND MEDIA HYPE PRESSURE THAT IS BEING APPLIED. IN FACT, IT'S BEGINNING TO APPEAR THAT OUR COUNTRY IS ACTUALLY BEING RUN BY TELEVISION "MONGRELS" AND HOITY-TOITY NEWSPAPER "PUBLIC-STATUS-MAKERS" WHO HYPE GRATUITOUSLY FOR THEIR POINT OF VIEW AND PUBLICALLY BEDAMN THE CONGRESS.
Maybe THE CIVIL WAR needs to reestablish a FREE PRESS that tells the TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE SPECTRUM!!!!!!!!!!! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT GROUP OF NEWS REPORTERS WHO LIVED BY A HIGHER STANDARD OF MORALITY????????????????????? ARE THEY ALL IN A GULAG SOMEWHERE?????????
